Deep in the heart of Japan lies a tranquil yet deliciously yummy food establishment called Ichiban. This hibachi restaurant was delectable. The food portions are huge, staff was attentive. We came here twice last week, on Monday and Wednesday. We sat down and ordered Hibachi and sushi. Wow, everything is very good! The sushi, top notch. The hibachi food, very good. Their soup and salad (the sauce) on point. The waitress, so hardworking! She’s the only waitress working at the dine-in area on weekdays! We had to wait a bit longer for the food, but the food is very good so worth the wait, She was able to serve and deliver everyone’s dinner at good timing. Also, I left my credit card at the restaurant on Monday and went back Wednesday to pick it up. They kept my card safe so I didn’t have to order a new credit card.

The food was pretty good but the sauces for like the yum yum sauce and the Teriyaki were just really sweet a little too much. The tuna squared was awesome. Is sushi tuna wrapped around spicy tuna topped with jalapenos and I think it was something like a ponzu sauce but I could be wrong

We love this place! All of their chefs have different styles, but we’ve never had a bad experience here at all. We even did a kind-of late notice birthday party there with our gigantic family, and they were able to accommodate us. They’ve definitely earned our business over and over.

Had the BEST sashimi meal at the bar. A delightful young lady was on her toes the whole time, serving us drinks, taking our order, asking what else we needed. And the owner(?)/manager(?) stood near the bar and entrance and knew so many people by name…greeting everyone. Just so inviting. I’ll be sure to come back!! Wonderful service, kind people, great food!!

The food taste more like Chinese food. Didn’t taste the authentic Japanese flavor. Also they didn’t include plastic ware with my pick up order nor offered it to me at the time of pick up. Front deck girl was dressed so beautifully so I give her a pass.

Tranquil back room exciting hibachi rooms and amazing atmosphere. Although the chopsticks are my nemesis, the enchanting decor won me over. The service was perfect and professional. The food superbly spiced the chef is masterful in his interpretation of teriyaki steak.

The food tasted fine but was not hot when it arrived. We went for the hibachi lunch and were disappointed when we found out they don’t do it anymore. They still offer a hibachi style lunch which includes most of the same options but not all. I ordered the hibachi scallops which were hot and cooked perfectly. The rice and noodles on the other hand were just warm, like pre-made and sitting in a warming tray waiting to be served. The waitress was attentive and until it was time to pay, then she was no where to be seen. We will return, but will be a little skeptical about lunch on a weekday.

Great service and atmosphere every time…..my biggest complaint is the amount of garlic that the cooks have been applying to all food during the hibachi process. I’ve only noticed this in recent years. It’s way too much….. The fact I need to rinse my mouth out with mouthwash after every meal is ridiculous. Food before was pure and delicious with just soy sauce and basic spices
