Moral Panic
You’re better off going to your local Chinese restaurant than coming here for overpriced subpar food. There’s a reason this place is practically empty around lunch on a Sunday. The side order of noodles that I expected to be closer to lo mein was just cheap box pasta with zero flavor. The chicken katsu didn’t include any eggs or onions like in their menu photos. If I was expecting to get something worse than what I could whip up at home I wouldn’t have made the effort to come here. Save your money folks.

Tried hibachi plate, a teriyaki plate, the sushi, and two of their flavored drinks. Enjoyed the ginger sauce, adding it to my hibachi plate. Overall was enjoyable, the teriyaki chicken quality was ok. Will not get the chicken again. The shrimp was good. My children enjoyed the sushi and flavored bubble drinks. Service was friendly and fast.

The food was horrible. The chicken was very dry and had very little to no taste. The rice was mushy and flavorless. The crab ragons had almost no filling. I was very excited to try this place, but was disappointed. It was also pretty overpriced.

We’ve ordered take-out from here 3 times since it switched from the ramen place. The first time, it was amazing! Normally, we order from the Miyabi Jr. Express by Buffalo Wild Wings, and after that first time, we were switching to Ichiban (not that Miyabi Jr. was ever not good, it’s just this was better and closer). Then, a couple months ago, we ordered from there again. It was okay. Tonight, we tried it for the last time. We ordered 4 meals for $70-ish, before tip. The price is what it is. However, the food was awful. The hibachi chicken was unlike any hibachi chicken I’ve ever tried. I would describe it as just unseasoned and boiled chicken, that’s how it looked and how it tasted. My husband had the hibachi steak, he said it tasted as if it wasn’t seasoned at all. The hibachi shrimp and vegetables were good. But, they weren’t at all redeeming enough for the remainder of the meals being complete let-downs. Very little of anyone’s meal was eaten. Next time I’m looking for Japanese Express, it’ll be from the Miyabi Jr.

The hibachi steak and shrimp was as good at the big expensive hibachi restaurant. The chicken katsu bowl with noodles was full of flavor. Definitely returning again.

Yes, it’s another hibachi in the area. I do wish the ramen was still available. Ordered the chicken and shrimp entrée. Plenty of food, quite tasty, and nothing was dry (a common hibachi problem with chicken). My one drawback was the lack of a ginger sauce. One of the competitors has a great one that pairs well with the vegetables. For those of us on the low carb/keto, they even offered to sub the rice with vegetables! Didn’t do the substitute and even got a milk tea which was delicious.

Probably the worst food I have ever eaten. Chicken was just dark meat, tasted like funky Turkey. Steak was significantly overcooked, very dry and chewy. Noodles tasted like the Turkey-Chicken. Rice & chicken Katsu were ok.
