We’ve been dining here 20+ years now, and although it’s changed a little over the years, it’s still my favorite teppanyaki place to eat. Most recently I had lunch there a couple of days ago and it didn’t disappoint! The construction on College Hills makes it a pain to get to, but luckily I don’t live very far.

Our hibachi chef added too much salt to our food while he was cooking it. It was way too salty to even enjoy it as leftovers.

There are a few hibachi grill restaurants, I was disappointed at Ichiban when I visited there for lunch. The food was very salty, and the price wasn’t competitive compare to Bonsai which has very similar lunch menu. One unique thing about Ichiban is they use mushroom when they grill meat and veges, but that doesn’t improve the taste as much.

Not great. Out of Towners, told this place was great. They used so much soy daises in everything. Guy cooking our meal was either sneezing or wiping his nose on his arm. Shrimp was so over cooked. It was clear he did not want to be there.
