Solid execution on breakfast. Pancakes and eggs were perfect (2 by 2). Wonderfully blasted eggs. Good jam selection, which I prefer to syrup on pancakes. Fruit cup was mostly good fresh fruit including pear and peach (better than just pineapple and melon!), but a single moldy piece not discovered until in the mouth keeps the rating from being 5 for food. We do like the place and will return

Get here early because they fill up fast. This place is delicious and a must every time we come to Saugatuck. Griddle cakes are a bit different than a pancake and a must try. The fruit cup is always full of a variety of fruits, not just melons. Do yourself a favor and get a muffin too, you won’t regret it!

Stopped in for breakfast because of all the great reviews. It was worth the visit. The food was good and so was the service. A nice place to have a good breakfast. The prices were very reasonable!

Cute and cozy breakfast joint! Not too busy or difficult to get a seat in the colder months, but expect a longer wait to be seated come summer. Great food all-around, but the muffins and fruit plates definitely stand out! Parking is available in front of the restaurant on both sides of the street.

We have visited Saugatuck three winters in a row but we were finally able to stop in at Ida’s and crossed it off our Saugatuck bucket list this winter. It is an amazing small-town-feel diner, with a great menu and friendly service. A must see restaurant if you’re visiting the area.

All of the breakfast dishes were good, they just didn’t stand out in any way. The exception was the orange juice and grapefruit juice – both were fresh squeezed as we watched. The wait when we arrived (late Sunday morning around 10:30) was 45 to 60 minutes, but we were fortunate to grab two seats at the counter which were 1st-come 1st-served.

I found the menus to be very shallow. Any good breakfast restaurant will have a good hash brown. Not so at Ida Reds they have a fried potato and that’s it. Also the turkey sausage was extremely greasy. However the scrambled eggs was very fluffy and good. Probably the best I’ve ever had!

Definitely a gem not to be missed! Ida Red’s is a delight of a place. The local diner feel you’re looking for with great food, great portions and all at a value price. This is the place in town to go get full!

Awesome brunch spot. California Club was the best club I’ve ever had. Service was exceptional. I really like the decor. Nice little garden spot out front. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re out here.

Great food, very efficient service. They were busy, and service not as great as on less busy mornings.
