Officially my new favorite Thai restaurant in Gainesville. They also have surprisingly good Japanese cooked dishes! Highly recommend their curries, noodle dishes, and the katsudon. The interior isn’t particularly impressive, but everything we ordered came out pretty fast and flavors were on point. The Thai curries are especially impressive because they make their curry paste in house! We got takeout later on in the week to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and we weren’t disappointed. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were very reasonable for generous portions and quality of food. Definitely coming back!

Visited 05/16/2022. Wanted to try a different Thai place than the one I usually go to. Food overall was good but nothing crazy. We ordered some of the pricier items such as the Salmon Truffle Carpaccio and it felt underwhelming. Chicken Pad thai, one the cheapest things we ordered, ended up being some of the best. Dirty thai tea was okay but it was chalky with the chocolate. Better off just getting the normal thai tea without the chocolate. Unagi Don was flavorful but pricey for what you get. Ambiance was okay but the place seemed really messy. Service was fine. Overall might return but not too impressed.

love this place they have amazing food and good service they are on the pricier side but it is worth it. Best appetizers are definitely crab rangoon and spring rolls. The best dish in my opinion is definitely pad Thai, but I also really liked the panang curry, drunken noodles, and any kind of fried rice. The picture I put is the drunken noodles which was honestly more chicken than noodles and then just a lot of veggies

This historic spot has been through many iterations over the years and this restaurant feels like a square peg in a round hole. But it is a delicious square peg in a cozy round hole. This amazing pan-Asian menu, with everything from sushi to curry and fried rice to their famous Doo Dee noodles, will make you look past the outdated interior and its mismatched furniture and booths. There are literally dozens of dishes that I want to try, so hopefully this iteration sticks around!

Parking is a bit harder to find but food is great. Fresh. Came on a Monday and was not super busy, was seated immediately and got my food as quick as I ordered it.

Great Thai spot downtown! Parking maybe a bit difficult to find but totally worth it. Plenty of outdoor seating and the service is great when they see you. May have to poke your head in to get their attention. Good was amazing and great prices. I will definitely be back to try the other dishes they had.

This place is VERY good. My girlfriend is Thai and she’s been here 11 years, she said this was easily one of the most authentic places she’s ever been.

I was pleasantly surprised and appreciate the effort they’ve put into the experience through: decor, flatware and flair from the omosake bar. But let’s get down to the food: there’s a 5-point rating scale for heat and an extensive list of Thai goodies and teas to choose from. I overheard my neighbor say “he hasn’t had flavors this quality in the States” and I may have to agree. Had the lunch menu Pad Thai, which was large enough to share for two and the perfect bite of sour, sweet, salty, and spicy. I look forward to trying the wiggly crustaceans next time!

I used to love the original If it is cafe..but ordering this time, it’s apparently a collab between HASS and if it is while the latter’s new location is under construction. I’m so disappointed with the food. We ordered avocado rolls and veggie gyozo for appetizers, panang and masamman curry. The appetizers were ok but entrees were not good at all…had to leave them unfinished.

Great Thai place right in downtown Gainesville. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome. It could use some updating as far as furniture and there is stuff laying around near the bathroom but the food was great. Definitely give it a try if your in the area.
