Incredible pizza. High quality ingredients. Chewie fire charred crust, delicate sauce and fresh mozzarella. Perfection. I only order cheese because I am a purist. This stuff is by far the best and most authentic Neapolitan style pizza in New London County!!! Be prepared! The owners are quirky yet charming hipsters from Brooklyn. I guess you could say that they, and their pizza, are the real deal.

I give 3 1/2 stars: First time eating here. The Pizza-Large(actual name, was delicious. The sauce was so good. The pizza($21) was cooked perfectly. Crust was nice and light and crispy. Order of Buffalo wings(12 for$15) were very meaty and really good. Only disappointment was the Chicken Parmigiana Hero. The chicken was not the traditional breaded cutlet but a piece of bland chicken that was unfortunately chewy. The roll was basic and hero itself was small

I never leave reviews and have lived in Mystic for five years. This is my second time ordering from Ignazio’s – first time was great (ordered the regular cheese). I just bit into their white pizza and it is arguably the best white pie I’ve ever had.

Most of my life I have regarded Sally’s in New Haven as my personal favorite. Medium thickness crust, plenty of sauce, not overly cheezed up. Ignazio’s is a tie. Perfect crust, unbelievable-tasting sauce, fresh mozzarella, charcoal on your hands. None better.

First take out order and we think it IS the best pizza in Mystic. I disagree with the person who did not like the sauce, the sauce is better than anywhere else. The white pizza was also good, thin crust. Hope it is successful because the rest of the pizza choices around are relatively mediocre and/or or too expensive. THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! Bon chance!
