We stopped here to blow time while we waited for my husband’s truck to get a bed cover installed. We ended up at iguanas and had what turned out being the best Cadillac margarita I have ever had. The price was fair and the person who tended us was very nice.

First time checking out this place since it changed over to Iguanas…. and I did NOT have the best experience. As soon as I sat down, the bench seat literally broke apart underneath me & they offered to move us to a different table. The servers were nice & friendly though, but only checked on us once & we never got a refill on our drinks (even though we were the only ones in the whole place). There food was very bland & odd tasting. My rice seriously tasted like cheap Chinese rice for some reason. The chicken had absolutely no flavor at all. And my carne asada was supposed to be cooked to medium, but they brought it out well done. Nice decor in the place, but I don’t think I’ll be back. Seems like I found the reason why we were the only ones there.

Based on the server’s recommendation, I ordered the Steak Ajo Arriero, “Steak sautéed with bell peppers, Chile de arbol, garlic, parsley, Mexican potatoesstyle. Served with rice and beans, pico de gallo and avocado slices”. Steak is used loosely here as it’s just a tough cut of beef strips. For $17.95, I expect more steak and of higher quality If I had to guess, I got just 1/4 lb of beef sirloin. I would have paid $8-$9 for this meal if given the choice. It’s not a $18 meal. It’s comes with your standard refried beans and rice. The dish was okay. It might have tasted better if I didn’t feel so ripped off in the moment. I don’t know. I wasn’t impressed. I see no point in returning.

Service was good, food was average, had a ground beef taco and ground beef and bean burrito, the meat didn’t taste like it had any seasonings the beans were very bland and rice tasted old like it had sat around awhile.
