I ordered online for pick up. I went out of my comfort zone and got something ive never eaten before. Salmon and salad. The had my salmon(and fries) at the bottom of the platter with the salad on top in the same container. My lettuce was wilted and had spots on it. Long story short…its in the trash without one bite being taken. The food was luke warm. They dont have warmers to put the food on before you pick them up. Months ago or maybe a year ago i ordered from here and they forgot my sons order. Guess ill wait another year or 2 to see if they get any better….

Waitress was nice at first, but then our meal was interrupted when they sat 2 large groups of super loud and obnoxious unsupervised teenagers next to our booth. I could tell from the faces of several other families there it was interrupting their meal. They appeared to be friends with the waitress so we were never able to find her again. Went to the front desk and waited for someone to talk to about the ordeal and no one ever came. This restaurant might be fine during the day when adolescents aren’t throwing things around, yelling and causing a scene unchecked, but steer clear of this place.

The wait staff and MANAGEMENT needs more training in customer service, even when you are busy, EVERY patron in the restaurant should feel like they are your most important customer, and not feel like they are being ignored, or dismissed. When you request an item as they are delivering your food, you would expect that item to be brought back to your table especially since it was to be added to your hot food that was just brought to you, but not only did that not happen, we asked not once, not twice but three times for the item, and eventually we had to get up and ask another waitress for this, she pointed to a table and didn’t speak, but that was an STRONG indication that we were to get that off the table our self. By this time, the food is cold, when our waitress finally came back around and asked if everything was alright, the reply was yes, after I had to get my own syrup. The customer service here is very poor, and you as the customer THEY are providing a service for, that YOU are paying for needs to be reevaluated, and the training needs to be improved over all, and this not only needs to be for the wait staff, but management, as the wait staff are only as good as the managers train them to be. Overall experience was not indicative of any other IHOP I have visited, and the experience was very disappointing.

Fast service. The food was good, i was not a fan of the fried steak with eggs plate. It tasted like a microwave meal. The chicken sandwich with avocado that my husband ordered was very good. Servers are great, helpful and friendly.

Food was good. Server was rude, cleaned our table , didn’t check on us and left check. My kids full plate , just tossed it. When I seen this, I asked her why she throw away the whole plate, didn’t ask if we need box but left the check. Her answer o I don’t clean tables . Attitude and all. What made me mad was the attitude, u left the check on table , knowing we were still there but didn’t ask if we needed a box? Come on, we went to the restroom when this happened. Maybe ago 10 minutes top. Kitchen dude was nice thou, stopped eating his food to make my kid new food. He was eating his lunch and seen everything. ( The place has three tables the whole time, so not busy)

The food we got was good but they were out of regular tea and was told they no longer have Swedish crepes. Hard to image a breakfast restaurant that doesn’t have tea. Not happy.

Updated review. We tried Culpeper IHOP again. The manager that was on duty at the time of the bad review was not there. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. The food was good and came out quickly after ordering. Before giving more stars we will try it again.

Not to busy during the week. Had an excellent breakfast with good coffee. Their breakfast bowls are great. I recommend adding avacado.
