I recently had the misfortune of visiting IHOP in Whittier on a Sunday morning, and let me tell you, it was like playing a game of Russian roulette. You never knew what you were going to get! The chaos in the restaurant was enough to make your head spin, with plates crashing and people shouting left and right. And to top it all off, our waitress seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed and was as rude as can be. When we asked for a fresh pot of coffee, we were given a lukewarm brew that had clearly been sitting around for hours. It was enough to make us shiver! In conclusion, if you value your sanity, avoid IHOP in Whittier on a Sunday morning. Or any morning, for that matter.

Customer service just keeps getting better here. You can see them making an effort to be really welcoming to guests. Depending on what time you dine, food arrived quicker than expected. Food is always great and consistent!

Food portioning was small. Service was abissmal. Constantly reminding the waitress of what we requested (initial drink order, request for straws, refills, etc…). Was my first time to this location. I won’t be returning. Limited parking unless you park next to Carl’s Jr. Looks like mostly new staff. Not well trained. It will be a large learning curve.

Has been our spot for several years. However last few times we have arrived and ordered restaurant is not full at all!! Has taken around 45 minutes to be served. Food arrives cold and wait is so long. I have asked why is our food taken so long . Never have an answer. I want old IHOP back service was fast and good!

Eatery businesses can be tedious and involve long hours. However, it is not always necessary to pay off the crew or allow tipping to become out of hand, in order to ensure a pleasant meal or process. When I entered Sat evening for a to-go order, this young lady greeted me with exceptional attention and friendliness, assuring me that it would only take a few minutes. Actually took longer than that, but her presence and willingness to assist put me at ease. A few minutes later, she also checked in and updated me on the status. Despite having limited personnel, the dining and kitchen staff seemed to work closely as a team. Before long, my order was ready, and I left feeling well taken care of.
