Delicious food—we did a bruschetta appetizer (incredible), pizzas (drooool worthy), and cannolis (picture uploaded) for dessert. Really impressed. Service was OK, we could tell our waitress was new and a little nervous, an easy area to improve in! Atmosphere was interesting, the restaurant is in the old Not Your Average Joes space, and although they’ve brought in new furniture—elements of the old restaurant are still visible? Again, not a huge knock… especially with the food being so incredibly delicious. We’ll definitely eat here again (or at least order on Uber Eats haha). Thank you Il Cappero!

I picked based on high Google review rating (which can be hit or miss) and wanting to try neighborhood restaurant. While service was good bu the food left me unimpressed. Calamari was good but pasta dishes left me wanted. I’m not sure whether it was “one off night” or not but I may have to give another try.

Did an online order pickup. Way overpriced for plain food. No seasoning. No flavor. I thought this would be worth it. It wasn’t. First and last time eating here. I should have just eaten at home. My kids were extremely disappointed and wanted chick fil an instead of finishing food from this restaurant. 153 bucks for a family of four, wasted. Seriously disappointed.

I ordered the Rigatoni alla. This was definitely all American food and not Italian unfortunately. The pasta sauce, meatballs and sausage had zero garlic, the side meatballs were still cold in the middle from not being microwaved enough as I could tell they were frozen and reheated as they were soggy when I bit in. The bread was just pizza dough. Definitely not worth the price unless you like mushy and plain food. The meatballs in the pasta were sliced so thin and so plain it was hard to tell which was a meatball and which was the sausage.

This was my second time dining at Il Cappero. My Chicken Piccata was excellent on both occasions. The chicken was very tender and the dish was flavorful without being salty or heavy on any other seasoning. A mixup with a couple of non-standard salad orders was quickly resolved.

Really cute little restaurant. The wifey and I went to get a quick bite and a drink. The waitress was really nice and accommodating. The food was good and I requested drink the waitress didn’t know, a Bourbon Belvidere. She took a picture of the recipe and made it perfectly!
