Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Walk in to a stunning space, meats and pasta sitting in the windows behind the host desk. Beautiful dinning room overlooking Milwaukee skyline, and somehow the food was still the most excellent thing about the restaurant! A must try for anyone who enjoys top tier food and wants to smile the whole time they are eating!

I have never eaten at one restaurant so many times in my life! We stayed at the trade for 5 days and ate here for dinner EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT! I was honestly incredibly nervous to try as most trips to Wisconsin have ended in me starving and sad but this place was truly excellent. You must try the Mafaldi, any of the Sourdough Pizzas, Chicken Parmesan, and the tiramisu. For drinks I loved the aviation, forget me tequila drink, and the espresso martini. As an Italian I will say this cuisine was crisp, fresh and authentically delicious. I cannot wait to come back to this beautiful place with perfect views and delicious flavors. Absolutely perfect.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is the best restaurant in Milwaukee right now. The location is top tier, the menu is deep, the food is fantastic, the service is great, the drinks will have you feeling it, and it’s the best value 5 star you’re going to get in the city. Nothing more, nothing less. Expect the best here, I’ll be returning very soon.

We had an outstanding meal here for my wife’s birthday. The menu is expansive, but we settled on the pizza with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved truffle, which was great. Then I ordered the bolognese, which was phenomenal. My wife loved her lobster pasta in a squash blossom cream sauce. Dessert was also excellent. Everything was great. It can be a bit noisy in the dining room, though. We checked out the bar and it’s fantastic with a great view, given it’s on the 9th floor. Highly recommend Il Cervo

This was my husband and I’s first time at Il Cervo and it was great! I booked a reservation for us for 5pm for date night on a Saturday and all the food was delicious. The staff were polite and personable. The restraunt was clean, elegant, and not over crowded. Lots of space. Great view, in and outdoor seating. Highly recommend. We will return for sure!

What a wonderful restaurant! The staff was amazing and very dialed into dietary restrictions as well as being very friendly. The space is gorgeous, and the view is fantastic, with very modern but completely comfortable funishings. The menu is varied and structured as you’d find in Italy. Each course was just the right amount, with just the right pacing, leading to a wonderful meal with food arriving at just the right time with no hurry and plenty of time for conversation. There is a heavy emphasis on local ingredients and their in-house, hand-made soft cheeses sets Il Cervo apart. In-fact, the entire experience reminded me of my favorite meals in Italy. The wine list looked strong, but we happily enjoyed the house Negroni’s this time. What a perfect addition to Milwaukee fine dining, and I was surprised at how affordable it was at the end of the night.

I can’t tell you how much I highly recommend this place. Probably the best Italian restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. Kylee did a great job throughout our whole meal catering to every need and wish we had. I would highly recommend trying some of their bread plates and especially their pasta plates. The Creste De Gallo was amazing. The assortment of mushrooms was fantastic. Additionally I highly recommend the chocolate torte. It was an absolutely great experience and highly recommend to all family and friends.

I honestly don’t get the bad reviews. This place is fabulous! We were in a group of 4 and had a variety of appetizers and pizza. Everything was outstanding! Prosciutto truffle pizza… oh my! Our drinks were well balanced and delicious. Our server was very attentive and responsive, while the atmosphere is just magnificent. I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes!
