We’ve been coming to Ristorante IL MONELLO since 2015! We have dined in 5 star dining all over the world and IL Monello is by far our favorite restaurant!!! Martino, the owner, and Saban is the absolute best and are like family to us. Their food is of the highest quality and cooked literally to perfection in an artful way. It’s the gem of Peapack NJ! Amazing food, great ambiance. Asparagus and grilled calamari appetizers were on point. Pork chops and pesto pasta were amazing. Tiramisu and Lemon cake were a perfect ending. Martino made our special evening a blast. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back very soon.

Large party on a Saturday afternoon. Private room for twelve of us. Fantastic attention from the servers, ample portions with great flavor. Plenty of options for vegetarians and gluten free diners. We ordered a large variety of dishes with no disappointments. Enjoyed every flavor!

Our future son in law’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at IL Monello and I can’t say enough about it. The owner worked out a special menu for the event and both the food and atmosphere were equally amazing! Everything from the appetizers to desserts were prepared with perfection and so delicious! They set up the tables with linens in a U-shape for the 25 guests outside under a beautiful tent surrounded by flowers. The staff was top notch and we had a great time. Highly recommend for dinner or special event!

Way, way over-rated and I highly doubt they are Italian. We made reservations for Mother’s Day and they didn’t tell us it was a prix-fixe menu for $100 per person plus they charged $3 for a glass of soda. Our reservations were for 6:30 and they literally ran out of more than half of the items on the menu and all of the things that we wanted. The owner, who is very arrogant, probably because he has wasps that come in and actually like his food, said he would “take care of us.” He did that by offering a shot of liquor at the end. They use way too much sugar and bland sauces and they probably get their food from a big box store like a Costco or Restaurant Depot. Way understaffed too… Live and learn but never again.

Great restaurant! Food is exceptional and Martino , Brian, and Alvie made our birthday dinner celebration on 2/9/23 a wonderful experience. The Steak , Lobster Raviolis , The Calamari and Meatballs all cooked to perfection! Atmosphere is fun and quaint. Go enjoy this restaurant you won’t regretted.
