Have gone to this restaurant several times and always had a good experience. However, the last two times we DoorDashed and the food was very different ordered eggplant Parmesan and it came with no breading on it basically sliced from the stock and just a little sauce and cheese put on it when I called and spoke to the manager, he said he could do nothing but re-cook it and we could come and pick it up. The reason we did DoorDash is we were not available to pick up we asked if he could just leave a gift certificate or something at the front desk, and we could have it remade another night, and he refused will not be going back.

One of our favorite places. Food is always wonderful. Our server, Nicholas, was outstanding. We had a party of 13. He set up the table so that everyone could see and talk to each other .No small feat. He never missed a detail.

I have to say that this is the best Italian food I’ve had since moving out of New York City. Best I’ve had on the Cape and better than any restaurant in the North End of Boston. They use quality ingredients and the food is consistently good. The staff are very accommodating and will go above and beyond. It’s nice that Montebellos is tucked away with an awesome view of the golf course. You don’t feel like you are caught up in the tourist traps of the Cape and rarely have to deal with long waits. But if you do, it’ll be worth it!

Ok – so maybe you’re going to have to wait for your table for possibly an unreasonable amount of time. What’s your hurry?! Go to McD’s then. But if you want excellent Italian fare mid-Cape, Il Montebello is the spot. Not what you’d expect from a golf course club house on the Cape….

I don’t know where to start. The appetizers were phenomenal And they give you a lot. The dinner was the same a lot of food top notch. It says expensive but it’s not really that expensive. The drinks are a good portion. And the desserts are a big menu. All homemade.
