I was pleasantly surprised! After reading so many negative reviews I was very nervous about coming for dinner at Il Mulino, but it was absolutely lovely! The service was top notch and no one was drinking alcohol at our table. Our server never missed a beat. The food was incredible. I had a pesto, truffle gnocchi that was out of this world! I would go back in a heartbeat!

My family and I went for dinner on Father’s Day for the 1st time. All the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails or wine. I had the frutti di mare. It was a very large plate of food, but it was amazing. If you enjoy seafood, I highly recommend it. I dont remember what everyone had specifically, but I know everyone enjoyed their meal. We definitely will be back again.

The last time I ate here was about 4 years ago because I moved out of the area. I decided to spend my birthday weekend in Fort Lauderdale and was super excited to bring my daughter here because the food and service was always nothing short of amazing! Funny how hiring a bad waiter can completely ruin the whole dinning experience! My daughter’s appetizer came out after the main course and my meal didn’t come out at all! Finished my glass of wine and I was never asked if I wanted another glass…. I had to ask for bread for the table and I had to ask for a glass of water. When I asked about the status of my meal, she simply said that “it’s her fault” and asked if I wanted her to tell the kitchen to rush my order. I refused because I would not give this place another dollar considering the waiter never once said “sorry” and we saw her talking to what appeared to be the manager the majority of the time that we were there. This place has zero service recovery skills and I will never dine at this place again. Ended up going to a restaurant nearby who employees seasoned waiters that care to follow up with the customers and bring out the food as ordered.

Worst meal we’ve had at this restaurant. Worst Italian meal I’ve eaten in Florida. Lamb ragout was lamb bolognese! Smoked oysters were tiny. You could have lubricated an 18-wheeler with all the oil in the veal Marsala. Veal piccata was tough. Server abandoned us when kitchen went rogue.

The food and service were absolutely exquisite. My girlfriend and I had an incredible meal. Before we were even asked for drinks, we were served our preference of water with bruschetta, olive focaccia, and fresh parmesan. Our captain, Ivan, took our order starting with the cold octopus salad that was on special that night, we opted also for Black Truffle Porcini Ravioli, Bolognese, and shared Rack of Lamb. We opted for additional black truffle shaved on the ravioli. Decedent, melt-in-your-mouth. Nearly indescribable flavors in that pasta. A must when you dine there.

Service is superb! The amount of attention the whole staff provides is unmatched in Boca. You’re noted as you as you sit down, and they’re always paying attention to you (more water? another wine pour? how’s the food?) However this place is not perfect. As other reviewers have already stated, the zucchini chips are served greasy and cold, and the bread is far from fresh. Live music inside is so loud that it is hard to hear from whoever is sitting with you. Food is good, though. Almost great. The highlight of the menu is the veal parm! Hands down, the best I’ve ever tried in South Florida!

I was last weekend with my husband and we found bugs in our food.I immediately call the manager and he looks like he didn’t care about,he offer the wine to us for free! The food is expensive and the day after we feel so bad! Never again! Poor service! Please avoid this restaurant! Is a robbery! Disgusting!
