We had a wonderful dinner and experience here. We both enjoyed the food (Risotto Balls appetizer, Chicken Parm, and Bolognese) and the desserts (Tiramisu, Cannoli, and an espresso with cream). A great spot for a date night or a family special occasion. We will definitely be back. Elegant but comfortable & atmosphere. Our waitress was great. Note: I believe this was “real” food with home made sauces made from real vegetables… so it will NOT be like Olive Gar. or other places that just reheat frozen bags of mass produced food. It will look and taste different, and it will be more expensive. I read some negative reviews here … but this is a local place where they seem to care about making their customers happy. If you’re not happy with something – tell them and I bet they would do their best to fix or improve the situation.

Great food, atmosphere and service. We were celebrating a birthday and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We got the calamari and tempura shrimp & eggplant appetizer. Ossobuco with polenta & duck breast with risotto as entrees. To end the night a slice of carrot cake. The portions were very generous and since we were saving room for cake, we had things boxed up to take home. We will definitely be returning.

Had sangria and the red snapper. The sangria was great and worth $10. The red snapper tasted alright and a little dry, but was too small of a portion in my opinion for the $29 it cost. I would recommend providing more of the sauce that comes with it.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. Everything from service to wine to apps, entrées, and dessert was spot on. We will be sure to be back soon. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t yet. You won’t be disappointed with the fresh, favorable food and expert service.

I found another hidden gem. The service was professional and the food was symphonic. The mussels were cooked to perfection and had just the right kick. I truly enjoyed the chicken piccata which I paired with the gavi. The meal ended beautifully with tirimisu. I will definitely be back to enjoy another delicious meal.

We just got appetizers as a meal but they were large enough to make into a meal for 2 people. The customer service was great and our food came quickly. The mussels could have used more flavor. Salad and mozzarella caprese was great! Extra star since they are one of the few places open on Mondays in the area.

My husband and I went to Leonardtown’s IL Piccolo Morso for dinner tonight. It was our first time but it won’t be the last. We shared an appetizer of Risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella. We also shared a Ceasar salad (trust me, the salads are huge! You want to share unless it’s your whole meal). Hubby had bucatini with meatballs and it was delicious! I had bucatini with carbonara sauce and it was also delicious. The pasta, sauce and meatballs were all handmade and fresh. We finished our meal with Panna Cotta which was good. Although the restaurant is a bit pricey it’s absolutely worth it. The servings were plentiful and the staff was pleasant and attentive. It’s a restaurant well worth going to! Make a reservation because it is a busy spot.
