Noguchi Limited Edition 01
When one of the most decorated sake makers in the history of sake comes out of retirement, you know the effort of this 87 year-old would be awesome. In fact; just like the brewer himself, this is a one-of-a-kind sake. The nose on this aged brew is a special collection of plum, cherry, fig, pear, apple, grains, and powder sugar aromas. In a word, this is a deliciously different sake that is dry, tight, crisp, and clean with a very quick finish. Sake enthusiasts rejoice, because “Naohiko 01” will fascinate you, and first time sake drinkers will be blown away
$1,800.00

My favorite sukiyaki spot! IMA provides a consistent and refined sukiyaki experience, so I am always excited to come back. They serve quality meat from Japan with careful attention for all parts of the sukiyaki meal. The dipping egg sauce for the sukiyaki is slightly heated so it is thicker and carries the meat even better. Every bite of wagyu and rice at IMA was divine.

I absolutely loved this place! We scheduled a reservation, and stopped in an hour early to check in and use the restroom. Before we could head back out to walk Beverly Hills, they offered a table to us! Super accommodating and saved us a big hassle! The waitress was very fun and all of us loved having her serve our table! Thanks again Ima, we will be back!

The wagyu beef is fresh and tasty. They arrive in the morning from Japan everyday. We ordered two sets which are $160 and $200. Even though the portion seems small because we only have 7 pieces of beef in total, we are stuff after the whole meal. The appetizer and dessert is ok, but still a nice balance for the whole meal. The flavor of Wagyu sushi is mediocre consider how expensive it is. If you never experienced meat melted in your mouth then it’s still worth trying. Definitely tried out their plum wine(it’s not Choya), add rocks if you don’t like sweet drink.

Excellent wagyu beef shabu shabu and sukiyaki. If you love beef, this is your place. Just be prepared to shell out $150 per person.

Probably one of the best Sukiyakis I’ve had in the US! Excellent quality of meat and service! Beef tartare is a must-order item if you love raw meat.

One of the best sukiyaki places in town. A5 Japanese wagyu. Don’t think 6oz is not a lot. Just wait until you have 2 slices (3oz). The flavor and richness is powerful and you will be full before the last 2 pieces are served.

Great authentic Shabu Shabu, the best one ive been so far. The best part was the wagyu beef with savory sauce, but you CANNOT miss the hidden menu!! The chef(Michelin 1 Starred) will make something depending on what ingredients he has if you ask! Satisfied by the food&service every time was there. I don’t write a lot of reviews but IMA definitely worth your time and money!

This place is insanely good. Better than most sukiyaki places in Tokyo. Yeah, you read that right. Don’t believe me? Go and try it for yourself.
