So I ordered the Old Saigon and the Havana sandwiches from Immigrant Food at Union Market along with a side of the Blegian fries. The service and atmosphere were amazing and keeping with the Union Market vibe as a whole. Both sandwiches were good in their own way. The Havana did not hold back on the three types of pork. They each of them cooked and prepared perfectly. The sandwich did come with a pineapple pickle that I wasn’t fond of. I understand the “wanting to put your own spin” on a traditional sandwich however I don’t think the pineapple pickle was the way to go. They also put a spin on the Bahn Mí sandwich as well using Adobe chicken as the protein. This was far more successful and made for a great sandwich. I would have like a more rustic roll on the Old Saigon but the sandwich is just fine without it. All and all a good experience and I will be going back.

I ordered the poke bowl and it was absolutely delicious – the flavors were on point and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into preparing the dish.

The falafel sandwich was way more delicious than I was expecting! I’m sad it was the first thing I tried there because now I’ll be hard pressed to try other things on the menu. Expensive but very good!

This location is inside union market. Friendly staff, happy to answer any questions. They make your food fresh after you order, so you might have to wait for it. I had the Old Saigon sandwich and Belgian fries, and pineapple matcha. The fries were amazing and the ginger was pretty decent. But that sandwich had too much going on. It was really messy and neither Caribbean or Bahm mi. Very over priced.

So delicious!!!! I ordered the Persian Plants and Peas and it was exactly what I was craving. The perfect combination of flavors….the pop of the mint, the savory lentils, and the dressing they used on the cherry tomatoes with kale and onion. The crunch of the toasted almonds on top was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the Persian Plants & Peas bowl, which I paid $20 for , it was terrible! Low flavor, small portion and stale ingredients. Won’t be going back.

They have a lot to choose from but I got the Havana Cubana. It was a tad smaller than I was expecting but it had a big flavor (and pineapples) and was pretty filling.

I ordered the Saigon sandwich on Uber eats and unfortunately the chicken was absolutely flavorless. Not sure what about it was adobo. I haven’t had canned chicken but I’m sure this is what it must be like. Was super excited so this was a huge disappointment…
