The only star is for the peking duck. The portion was smaller than expected, but it was authentic and tasted amazing.

We ordered the Douglas crab with Bifengtang flavor, reasonable portions. The Peking roast duck is great. The pancake and sauce is authentic but the cantaloupes as vege paring is a bit off. Dim sum is available for dinner as well but overall is OK.

Had dim sum here with friends. This is perhaps the 3rd time I’m here. Authentic dim sum with all traditional dim sum dishes. Some of the dishes were a little salty than normal, but overall everything was good and delicious.

So I have to come here at least once a month to satisfy my addiction to this place. Their Dim Sum is hands down best around. Staff is super nice and helpful with any questions I may have.

Dim sum was good. It was quite odd that the deep fried shrimp tasted a bit sour. I’m used to seeing ground meat in sticky rice dish but now they use pieces of meat instead. Also, it appears the food quality has gone down hill. Their King county food safety rating is “Okay”. Majority of the items on the menu are priced at L $6.25. Service is slow as well. Would be nice if they would bring back the dim sum carts.

We usually come here quite often, but it’s been awhile. We came around 3-4pm after the dim sum carts were going around. It didn’t take long for us to get seated and get food ordered. The staff wasn’t as attentive as I remembered. There was another family before us who seemed to had been waiting for a long time to get the staff’s attention and get their order started. We had chicken feet, shu mei, humbao, steamed rice, congee, rice noodle with beef and beef tripe. The food was decent. I had leftovers that I ended up bringing home.

Horrible service. The food is amazing. I understand places are short staffed, and I get it. So I give lots of leniency when it comes to this. But this place, the service was terrible. And there was a huge area of the ceiling that was rotted out with black mold all over. And you could tell it had been that way for a while. You’re supposed to sign in when you enter, but there’s nothing that says that, and nobody greets you. Stood there for 10 minutes until one of our party went to ask, and that’s how we found out. We were finally seated and had no water for 15 minutes. Did get some tea in like 5 minutes. Had to get up and go ask them for almost everything except the menus. They also force “gratuity ” on you. It’s just a fancy way to say tip and get away with forcing it. They would not have gotten my business or a tip with that type of service. Won’t be going back. Unfortunate, because the food was actually really, really good.

We’ve been looking for a new go-to dim sum spot and hadn’t been to Imperial Garden in a while. They’ve remodeled and it’s a smaller space. And the Great Wall is showing its age. But they still do the old school service with white tablecloths that get changed after every customer.
