I Enjoyed coming here it was a nice atmosphere but we did not enjoy the food too much. The wings were so good tho! The pizza could have been better, the chicken did not seem cooked on top the pizza in the oven it was chunky and not done enough. Kinda felt like eating a loaf of bread too. The drinks were weak. Was supposed to be a live DJ when went but didn’t see one.

Food was delicious, drinks were outstanding, and the service was top notch. We popped in for some drinks, but ended up staying much longer to enjoy the food and the vibe. I liked seeing plant-based options on the menu, and the plant-based pizza was really tasty.

We went here for the first time today and I’m happy we did. Delicious pizza with plenty of cheese, great sauce and perfect wood-fired crust. Nice salad as well. The owner greeted us and seemed like a really nice guy. Great to support a vet and black owned business. I was recommending this restaurant before I left! If I had any complaint it would be that the pizza was just warm when it came to the table. I expected hot and bubbly. Still really good, but would have preferred it hotter.

My partner and I decided to try this place because one of her colleagues is the co owner (Darren). Admittedly, I was skeptical (to say the least), but still wanted to be a good sport and try it out. First I would like to say, this place had some of the best pizza i’ve had in quite some time. Fresh ingredients, evenly distributed toppings and sauce, and most importantly…perfectly crusted and cooked! Wood fired pizzas can be tricky, but they have seemed to figure out the formula as my pie looked perfect! Normally I would have taken a photo of such a masterpiece, but I literally couldn’t wait to dig in. Everything was piping hot and the presentation was excellent. The wings were delicious, BUT I have to agree with the other reviewers. Its frustrating they don’t come tossed (sauce is on the side), and you get a meager amount of wings for the money you’re paying. I also was not impressed with the visual aesthetics and overall ambience of the place (dimly lit). On the flip side, the establishment itself was clean, as well as, the plates and utensils. I don’t drink, but others in my party got drinks and I can say I think the issue with the alcohol portions has been resolved. Everyone took one sip and had that stank one eyed look on their faces (which I assume was a good thing lol). All in all, I gave this place 5 stars because you have to give credit where its due. They had great food, with a clean atmosphere. Our order was correct, it came out in a reasonable time, and it taste great! You cant please everyone, and my comments should be taken as kind (and candid) feedback. For that reason, they are still a 5 star in my book!

I LOVE pizza and this was one of the most cheesiest pizzas I’ve had in a long time! The service was slow, but we understood because help is needed in every establishment. The pizza was worth the wait. Also try the brick oven wings! Looks like they may have live entertainment sometimes. We’ll definitely be returning!

We were dining in for my son’s 16th birthday. Let me just say the atmosphere was amazing!! The owner acknowledged us and gave a birthday shout out to my son. There was a live band there as well they were dope!!! The pizza is very delicious!! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be returning for karaoke, great food, and drinks!!

Everything here was amazing from the warm welcome from the owner to the food & drinks prepared by the owner himself & his staff. I’d ordered the portobello mushroom pizza with chicken & the sweet chili wings & the drink of the day “Sno ball” (alcohol beverage) & it was not to mention the music was on point. Can’t wait to catch karaoke night.

In Da Loop is such a great addition to the loop restaurant scene! Their wood fired wings are amazing as is the pizza. Prices are very reasonable – we got personal pan pizzas and they were the perfect size and service was excellent. Will definitely be a new staple! Can’t recommend enough.

This is not what I expected. For the pricing of the food items, what was packaged inside these to-go containers are completely unacceptable. I ordered Buffalo wings expecting the sauce to be on the wings, I also did not expect 6 pieces for $12. The chicken didn’t even taste like anything and some of the bigger pieces of chicken were not cooked all the way through. The salad was $6 and this salad looks pathetic. Definitely won’t be back here for lunch, dinner. Appetite was completely ruined.
