Both husband and wife were so sweet. The food is tasty and very good portions. Nice to have Kerala style biriyani for a change and we didnt have to wait long.

As soon as I walked into this place, I knew I was gonna give it mixed reviews. The service was super slow. I had to wait for a long time to get seated and even to get the menu and some water. I ordered a dosa and lemme tell you, the dosa and sambhar were not even close to what South Indian food tastes like. The sambhar lacked the signature veggies (just had onion and capsicum) and spices that are used in sambhar, the masala in the dosa was also not up-to the mark. At least they should hire another person for a faster service. They were all nice though but I was there for some good Indian food and I was very disappointed.

Good prices. Great indian taste, one of the best Indian foods I have had. Mom and pops restaurant. Only open about half of the week. Would at least give it a try.

Love this place. The family that runs this business is genuinely nice. I love their tandoori chicken wraps. It is a hidden gem. I wish they had longer hours.

Aaaaamazing. So incredibly authentic! The flavors were intricate and you could tell the dishes were crafted straight from the heart. True and traditional Indian cuisine is hard to find. Wish you guys were closer to home (North Atlanta). We’d become regulars Priya listened carefully to my wife’s dietary needs and prepared a small feast. Nothing tasted short of true to pure Indian food and it was a memorable cultural experience. We asked for dishes without sugar, soy, dairy, gluten or corn! Try to eat like this at other places and they struggle to come up with much. Not to mention forgetting to actually flavor the food. Not here. It was a season-rich masterpiece.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal from Indian Cafe. We were disappointed that they were takeout only during the pandemic, but the owners were very sweet and gracious. The food was tasty and they threw in lots of extras so we did not feel like we were missing out. We will definitely be back when driving through Augusta again. Stop in and support a wonderful local businesses 🙂

Great authentic Indian food. We come hear at least twice a month and the food is always great. We tried several dishes and they all are very tasty. The owners are a wonderful friendly couple, the wife is the awesome cook and her husband serves. It is a real family atmosphere. We are so happy we found this jewel tucked away in a corner.

It’s a wonderful home cooked Indian meal. The owners really seem to enjoy what they’re doing. The wife cooks and the husband works the tables. We enjoy going in there for the personal treatment. The food is five star. The only reason I’m rating 4 is the atmosphere is a little quirky.
