Is this restaurant under new management? Main chef had the night off? We were regulars at this restaurant for years; changing combination dinners from time to time. The quality of our recent order was disappointing to say the least. Flavorless, bland, and far more spicy than usual. The Kheer tasted like it has been in the refrigerator two or three days. The only fairly adequate dish was the Tandoori Chicken that tasted like it was quickly sprinkled with salt. Moving on.

Over the past 4 years, I have eaten a great deal from this restaurant. I mostly get take-out, but have dined in this location several times.

Ambiance – Very good (except at the entrance – very messy desk!)

My wife and I were driving from Springfield, Mass, up to Saco, Maine. While she was driving I was browsing the web for places to eat that were not chains, and might also offer interesting vegetarian fare. A search for “Indian” in the i495/i93 area turned up the India Palace – which came with six reviews, all giving five stars. I hopped on their website and determined the menu to be full of variety, so we decided to take a chance and stop in.

I have been there 2 times. First time also I did not like it and same this time. Visited second time by mistake as i just searched Indian restaurant near me on google and i dont know ways here. When I reached I realized that I have already tried this place. Now I am writing a review so that I dont land up by mistake there when I will come next time.

The food is excellent here, but the service is horrible. Every time I go there (usually Fri or Sat night) there’s no one at the front desk, and I have to wait upwards of 10-15 minutes to either be seated or pick up my takeout order. When I call for a takeout order it frequently rings a dozen or more times before going to a recording, and I have to call again to get someone. They frequently get the takeout order wrong. They lost my credit card one time going from the register to my table. They desperately need more employees or at least someone manning the front.

The mushroom saag and garlic bread was delicious. And definitely more than I could finish myself. I like the atmosphere and decoration, with the hung wood carvings and the elaborate tables. Service was great and prompt.

The food was just superb, you must try the muligatawny soup, chicken tikka masala and the indian icream, all very authentic and wonderfully spiced.

Solid Indian food in Westford. I have only been here for the lunch buffet and its reasonably priced with a great selection of items to try. There is a small salad option as well as chaat/bhel in addition to appetizers and several entree’s. Additionally there are multiple soups and desserts options which typically does not happen at most buffets in the area. The buffet comes with fresh naan to order and the space is big so plenty of room.

Ordered Panner Chilli curry which was not that good. Green pepper(Capsicum) was not cooked. Seems like the chef has a common tomato curry made ready and uses it in common for all the other types curries.
