So I ordered a meal after waiting 45 minutes for the food but this was missing the right so if you’ve ever had Indian food it kind of needs the rice to make. This was really disappointing. You could be the judge does that look like a $17 entree

I had an issue with my takeout order. The owner reached out to rectify and personally delivered a new, delicious order. Top notch service.

Brand new Indian restaurant. It’s got a small area to eat, but it looks to be more takeout oriented. We ordered Samosas, Aloo Gobi, Butter Chicken and Naan…. It was all super flavorful and delicious. This is now my go to spot for Indian food in Tacoma! Great job!

So glad this place opened at such a convenient location. It is takeout oriented but they are cooking everything from scratch. The mango lassi is amazing and super authentic. Everything is very fresh, not too oily. Some of their dishes are a little too spicy, like the samosas, so I wish they would offer a milder option for the westerner tolerance level. I have already been about five times and we will continue to be regulars.

At long last, Tacoma has a place with traditional foods from the South of India. Southern India is know for exceptionally good vegetarian food. I ordered the Masala Dosa, a crispy crepe made with fermented lentils and a spicy potato stuffing. It was served with a fresh coconut chutney and a special sauce. All was beautifully prepared and I can’t wait to try some of their other dishes. As with all new places, they have some kinks to work out, but I’m sure that with such delicious food, they will succeed.

Edit; today must have been an off day. The lobby was cluttered with dirty cups and they microwaved my rice in a Styrofoam container which is not safe to do. I had to throw my rice out. I suggest they stop using Styrofoam containers all together, paper is better.

My experience at India Garden can only be compared to my experience at the most avant-garde restaurants in British Columbia. The customer service, food quality, and efficiency of this establishment is to be learned by anyone who wishes to see themselves as one of the best in this field. In addition, the packaging in which the food is given to a customer is as if it were directly taken from the cook’s cabinet of cutlery. The dishes I had ordered for myself included a serving of butter chicken, garlic naan, and the rasmalai for dessert. Lastly, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone even in the slightest mood to taste a transporting hunch of India’s delicacy and culture.

During my recent visit to Seattle, I came across this India Garden restaurant that had limited menu and take out option. It worked for us. So we ordered Dal Makhani, chicken tikka masala and Dosa. The food was ready in less than 20 minutes. We were impressed for the quick turnaround, quantity was very good and quality even better. Totally worth the pricing. Will definitely revisit upon my next trip.

Tried this new Indian restaurant last night at 6th & Union in Tacoma. The food was awesome and I’ll definitely be back! I had Chicken Tika Masala, a Samosa and garlic Naan. All were excellent and the portion was large enough that I got two meals from it.
