Sunday 11:30am, I was the only customer and first customer here. The boss told me that his stuff not in yet, but he could cook for me, so I took his suggestion, spent $20 exact here, the dish should be 17+, with cash payment. The chickens were a little hard, the curry was very good! Since I was the only customer here, I took a little more photos to show the restaurant, and the music was great too, Indian style, for sure.

The staff is attentive. We ordered a couple of samosas to share, one was veteran, the other stuffed with lamb, never tried that, both were tasty. For main course, I ordered Baingan Bharta, which was very good and had right amount of spiciness, like I requested it. The naan was slightly greasy. My friend, who is a regular, ordered saag paneer, she wasn’t impressed and they forgot to make it spicy for her.

Today was my first time at India Gate and it was worth the visit. Walking in, you can smell the spices and you know things will be good. I ended up going with Chicken Malai and Garlic Naan. Both have great flavor.
