When we entered the restaurant, we were greeting by a loud woman that talked quite fast. I ordered some take-out food and asked for it to be medium spicy in taste. The good part is that the food did not take long to prepare, we did not have to wait long. But, as we waited for the food I heard a customer come back into the place since she did not receive all of her food – and there was no apology given for the mistake by the staff. And, once our food arrived I noticed that the take-out containers were quite small for the price. And, to make matters worse the food tasted like it was not fresh…more like heat and serve, and it was not spicy. I was quite disappointed but decided to cut my losses. This was a waste of money and time – my first and LAST visit.

This is one of my favorite Indian lunch spots. The restaurant is a small space, roughly 12 tables, so you need to get there early to grab a spot.

This restaurant recently opened in the place where ‘Curries and Chutneys’ use to be. Good South Indian food ( yes- there are several cuisines within India, with broad distinctions of the North and the South) in Carmel/NW Indy/Zionsville area. I tried the lunch buffet. The Chicken Biryani and Goat Curry was flavorful. They had Sambar ( lentil soup) channa Chole ( chick peas in sauce), Chicken curry, tandoori chicken , Saag Panner (Creamy Spinach with cubed cottage cheese)+ a few other dishes. Freshly made small sized Dosa’s ( crispy crepes) with potato masala was part of the buffet. Overall- a good meal for $9.{ I am told dinner Buffet costs around $11.] They have ala carte menu available as well. I may get some dishes to go the next time I am at Costco.

This restaurant has a great buffet and it does it right. The food is flavorful and has vegetarian options as well. They don’t try to do too many things, it seems like they have just the right amount of entrees. The service is great for a buffet.

To all biryani lovers, this place has goat curry mixed with flavored rice ,and they call it Biryani.I am a kind of person willing to spend $20 or more for a biryani , if it is made properly according to the standards. They charge you $18 for this goat curry and rice mix and call it Biryani .

Had their carryout lunch. It was great, they were very helpful as I was not familiar at all with the different types of food.
