Good Indian food at a reasonable price. This old fashioned dining car is now the home of India Grill. As expected the atmosphere is more 50’s diner style than traditional Indian. The service was prompt and the portions were generous. The food is simple, quick and pleasing. I give The India Grill four stars because it is exactly what it appears to be.

Nepalese people understand the Indian palate better than us Indians! That idea became stronger when I visited India Grill! The food is delicious and ticked all boxes authentic! The menu has options that run across all parts India & Himalayas, the portion size was generous and the staff was very humble! My wife and I loved the location and the expanse and plan to make this our weekend joint!

Super delicious and authentic food. Got the lunch special–portion was very generous for the price. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend the cardamom tea. Definitely coming back!

Came for dinner and had a lovely experience! Samosas were deliciously spiced, veggie manchurian was amazing, and our entrees were great! I’m vegan and they even accommodated my request for no ghee on the aloo paratha.

Amazing Indian food in west Hartford area! A great variety of curry options for eaters of all kinds. I usually go for the vegetarian dishes and each of the ones I’ve tried have been delicious.

Got take out which was prompt. However the chicken tikka masala was awful. Bland, light yellow in color, more like a tasteless korma – super disappointing. The naan bread was flat and rubbery and the poppadoms were all on the point of being burned so had a scorched taste,

India Grill is one of the best Indian restaurants in (west) Hartford. The taste of food here is very authentic and the owner is very warm to all the customers. Do try their Thali ( lunch special) and Nepalese special items like Momo and Noodles.

The food is a joke.. the name indian is just cover up for bringing customer in. Service is 0 did not ask for water i seen customer doing self service for water lol. Food is tasteless when we told them it was overcooked. There reply was sorry and did not say anything. I had to ask them to pack the left over. I was not going to spend 40$. And leave the food. I would never recommend anyone if the food is good it covers ur bad service but here food is 0/10 and service -9/10 .

Very bad experience with food. Ordered chicken biriyani.It looks like some masala mixed with chicken. Ordered Madras chicken.. Not good as well. Naan is ok. Maybe you can try some other dishes and put your reviews.
