I have never seen Butter Chicken be this color before anywhere in America, the UK or Ireland. The chicken itself is a pink/reddish color and almost looks like crab meat with the tenderness of chicken, but it doesn’t taste like chicken. The guy was nice and made the food fast, but I couldn’t finish this meal based on taste and the color of it. Frozen Indian food at the grocery store would’ve tasted better.

It’s edible… Weak in flavor the butter chicken looks to be like cheese chicken or something… The soup was ok, still, weak in flavor… The naan was ok it made everything else bearable… I also put that I needed utensils, they didn’t provide utensils…

I’ve been trying various Indian restaurants in Portland to find my favorite and India Grill wins!!! I’m a vegetarian so I really enjoy their lunch buffet with various options for veggie friendly. They have the best spicy green chutney I’ve found in town, if you like it hot that is! Their green salad is actually green, no iceburg here anymore! And love their vegetarian main dishes, so much flavor. I keep coming back regularly and their quality is very conistent, love it!

Great food. Friendly staff. Convenient location easy to spot on street. It was warm, only 1 air conditioner in restaurant. I had phone coupon from entertainment book, staff had not redeemed a phone coupon before: they were accommodating. I would print out the next one, although. We had the lamb korma, lamb masala & garlic naan.

Without a doubt, this is the worst Indian food i ever had. Breads were stale.. curries looked like packaged food reheated. I would rather stay hungry than eating at this place again..

SO GOOD! Ordered vegetable samosas, papadam, naan and raita, chicken vindaloo and chicken korma and everything was great! The sauces were delicious too. Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely one of the best Indian spots in Portland, and I’ve heard many Indian people echo this statement. Chicken Tikka masala is possibly the best I’ve had. Navvatran curry is also a favorite. I miss their lunch buffet and dine in service but since COVID it is to go only. Hope this changes….
