Highly recommend this authentic Indian restaurant in Northampton. We were warmly greeted by kind staff immediately upon entering the authentically decorated India House! The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. We were asked by staff how our meal was to ensure it was nothing shy of delicious. Staff genuinely care about their guests here, and it’s apparent. The food was very tasty! We will definitely give our business here again. *please note: if disabled, there are stairs both into the establishment as well as internally to the restrooms on the second floor.

The food was absolutely amazing as always. Staff are super friendly and courteous. I didn’t get that many pictures because we demolished the food so quick. We got the bread basket and Cauliflower Lollipops for our appetizers that vanished almost as soon as they set it down on our table. We had a party of 8. They were able to cater to all of our levels of tolerance for spiciness. Can’t wait to go back again!

Delicious food and the service was top notch. The family atmosphere was amazing and very much appreciated. Our party of 5 had allergies, celiac, and nuts, and they took care to make our dining experience safe and healthy.

Atmosphere deserves more than five stars This place is amazing. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fantastic. I took my grandma to get Indian food for the first time in her life and she was very hesitant because she’s scared of spice and I told her to trust me they have no spicy options. My grandma loved it. I’ve been going here for years now and I’ve never had a bad meal. The cinnamon sugar naan bread is one of my favorites! Sometimes I’ll stop by just to get some.

The food, as usual was good, but in my opinion, it is 15-20% over priced, and the dishes seemed to be priced and offered “á la carte.” Yes, The India House has long been a mainstay of Northampton’s excellent restaurant venues, providing a rich variation of southern and northern Indian cuisine; however, I would like to see a type of “Tali plate,” which would offer a variety of taste combination, instead of the current practice of preparing too much of one dish, so that the diner takes it home, or that one needs to order too many dishes, just to achieve the semblance of a rich Indian repast.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have a gluten allergy and they are beyond accommodating. They have delicious cocktails and every meal I have tried has been great.

I made three visits to India and became familiar with Indian foods. More so, I remember India House as the best Indian food in the Valley.
