10/10 and continue to come here monthly if not more. Highly recommend their Brussel Sprouts and Bread Pudding + a scoop of ice cream! Everything else we’ve been making our way through the menu has been great as well. Friendly and fast service. Definitely enjoy our time here.

Indian Fields Tavern is a charming restaurant located in Charles City, Virginia. It is a bit of a hidden gem, as it is located off the beaten path, but it is well worth the drive. The restaurant is housed in a historic farmhouse, and the interior is decorated in a rustic, yet elegant style.

Terrific value: delicious food, friendly staff, clean, nice ambiance, lots of parking, and good pricing. When visiting the area this weekend for VA’s Historic Garden Week, we ate here for dinner, then lunch, then dinner again! We had the burger (twice – fries are so good!), wings with honey sriracha, wedge salad with grilled chicken breast added, carrot cake (twice), and flourless chocolate torte (twice). The staff was very accommodating of our gluten and lactose intolerances. The kitchen made everything perfectly!❤️ Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant – a great find.

Not the “destination” dining experience of years past. The reinvention is a great thing for the partying beer revelers, but for someone looking for a good meal, not so much.

Located on the historic John Tyler Memorial Highway (Route 5) in Virginia is “Indian Trails Tavern,” a fancy farmhouse with fabulous fare and even more excellent service. Thank you, Lisa (our waitress), for the fantastic hospitality and for celebrating family moments with us!

Came here for an outdoor concert, we saw Good Shot Judy in the barn. We had a great time, entry and exit was great, facilities like any other outdoor event were a food truck, drink stand and porta potties. We took our fold up chairs and enjoyed the evening there. I cannot comment on the house restaurant as we didn’t eat their food but it looked very good and we will re visit another time for that. All in all we had a good time and loved the place.
