Everything was beautiful. The server was sweet. The ambiance was stunning. The staff was upfront about the added 20% gratuity rate & 2 hour meal limit (which is gracious). The food is flavorful. The rooms were very inviting and intimate with plenty of elbow room and space for dishes. The servers are knowledgeable about their dishes and make great recommendations. I would recommend.

Stunning presentation and beautifully balanced dishes in both taste and texture. Waitstaff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the back patio is gorgeous. The shrimp toast is not to be missed!

Indo was phenomenal. Excellent service, great food & presentation, and the vibe felt intimate. Perfect place for a date. The food was absolutely delicious. They change their menu between seasons, so I’ll definitely be back.

During my recent visit to St. Louis, I had the pleasure of dining at Indo, a restaurant I hadn’t been to since before the pandemic. Indo offers a delightful selection of Southeast Asian-inspired dishes and Japanese hand rolls, which made for a truly exciting culinary experience.

Amazing food, great service. We had the cabbage salad (had a nice kick to it), ribs (DELICIOUS), gyoza (nice presentation, great taste) and finally the noodles (omg! Just great). Will definitely come back whenever I am in St. Louis.

Indo is not merely a restaurant, it’s a captivating culinary voyage that transports your palate straight to the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia. Situated in the charming Tower Grove neighborhood of St. Louis, this gem of a place stands as a testament to the extraordinary culinary genius of the owners, whose legacy at Nixta is evident in every nuanced flavor profile that Indo offers.

I’ve eaten here many times, the way they prepare sashimi is unique, filling and absolutely delicious. Don’t forget to use the spoon, it’s there to prevent one from licking the plate! Although I’ve come close, the sauces are that good. Highly recommend (after multiple experiences) in order of favorite: Isaan, Masu, Bluefin, Yellowtail, Tuna. Hand rolls are good, however in my opinion, the sashimi is a must for first timers. For cooked options; Shrimp Toast, Japanese Eggplant are excellent as well as the rice pudding, it keeps the meal light at the end. No pictures of the Crab hand roll, but that’s a winner! Service is impeccable too. This will always be a place I return to when visiting STL.

I’ve eaten plenty of sushi in my life. This is in no way a claim to being an expert in all things culinary, but I would losely use the term, “Experienced Foodie.”

Meh. The food was good, don’t get me wrong. I expected something more with the 6 week wait for a reservation and $315 for 4 people ($90 alcohol for 7 drinks). I’m glad I went once, but probably won’t go back. I had small omakase. A good option if you are overwhelmed by the choices as I was. 2 of 3 cocktails ordered were not good
