I had wanted to try Indochine ever since it opened in Southport. I had an opportunity to eat lunch at the Leland location, and it was outstanding. Before 2 p.m., their lunch menu is limited, but everything sounded great. I chose the Teriyaki Beef Noodles. It was outstanding, perfectly prepared, and extremely flavorful. I can’t wait to try their entire menu.

I ordered teriyaki chicken noodles and veggies with 2 orders of the crab angels for my toddlers. 2nd bite I took was broccoli that was full of dirt. Literally chewed up grits of dirt. Spit it out and figured it was just a piece that didn’t get rinsed good. Kept eating and kept eating more dirt/grit. Took it back and the girl was so rude she wanted to ARGUE with me over whether or not I had just ate dirt. She said other people would have the same complaint if they had dirty vegetables. I said oh so I’m lying? She said well I’ve sold a lot of those dishes today and nobody else said that it had dirt in it. I walked out. Won’t be back. Stick to Wilmington location.

First time Fter having been to the original Indochine many times. Having since gone gluten free for health reasons usually any Asian is difficult . There’s options aplenty and the staff were enthusiastic to help us through the new menu. We were surprised when we were told even the soy sauce is gluten free. Overall satisfaction was amazing and the food was amazing as well. We’ll be back often !! Thanful to have more amazing options in Leland

I lost so much respect for Indochine as a whole. I think the owner would be embarrassed by this restaurant. They lost our order and we waited 30 min after our DoorDash pickup time without any sort of compensation or apology. I should’ve checked the bag before I left but when I got home it turns out they forgot our sweet and sour sauce… with our sweet and sour chicken. This indochine sucks, and I will be driving across the bridge before trying this location again.
