Understaffed on Friday night. Only half the tables full and food took more than 30 minutes from order to table. Ok, good food can take a bit. We’ve eaten here before and the food was great.

I eat there about twice a wk. Delicious food and great service! My sister and I have been working our way down the menu and there hasn’t been one meal that wasn’t better than the last. The onion rings and burgers are ginormous and the corn fritters are a must have and so are the mushroom bombs.

I am a frequent eater here. I love their food. It is fresh, cooked perfectly and I know that I can safely eat here. I have some serious food allergies and they are very very careful with my food. I relax when I am eating here and this is not the case with anywhere else in the Valley. Thank you to Wes and Jamie and the cooks and waitresses.

The staff are great. The steak was horribly disappointing. The price makes you think it will be good but it isn’t. Lots of nasty gristle all around the edges. Cut super thin for a big price. It was tough too. Won’t be back unless it’s to grab a bowl of baked beans to go. Best baked beans I’ve ever had but even the to go bowl wasn’t even half full. Wa wa wah

Okay. This place will be my go to place for steak. As I am a contractor I eat out alot. And this place noses into The Turtle Club in Fox, Ak for pure prime rib flavor. We also ordered the seafood bucket. Visually stunning and full of flavor and a real joy to eat. Service wasnt perfect so the 4 star rating. Ill be back and maybe they can get thier 5th star. Pretty homey amotsphere and smallish dinning room means you have to be here early or call ahead. Glad there is a great place to go in the valley!

Very cozy relaxing hotel and restaurant!!! Best ever!!! Mountains all around, great town, this facility was a house for the teachers in the pioneer era during the great depression. So much history in the building.

We had a terrific lunch here today as part of the Winnebago Itasca Travelers (WIT) Alaska Tour 2012. The Tomato Basil soup was superb!
