It’s a restaurant in a town of 500 people. So locally we are glad to have a nice place to eat. The prime rib night is amazing. It gets smoked on a trager grill all day. The service is great for a small town. Sometimes there’s a wait, because there are a bunch of people, and sometimes you’re the only one in there. So when it gets busy, locals grab their own water and coffee. We appreciate having a nice place to grab a beer and a place to relax.

We arrived at 6:15 and we were seated by the dishwasher. We could hear the waitresses complaining that they closed at 8 why were they seating people. The dishwasher was great and saved the day, but the waitress was absent most of the evening until it came time for the bill and tip. I hope the dishwasher received some of it. Food was fair. We had been there before for breakfast and it was good.

I highly recommend this place. Stopped in after doing some camping on the mountain. I got a western double cheeseburger. The patties were fresh patted, the sauces were homemade, the fries were fresh cut, etc. all at very reasonable prices. Roxanne was super friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Great little tavern with good food. The onion rings are spectacular. When you walk in, the front section is the “family” dining area. If you don’t have children, keep walking to the back.

This is a HALF order of their biscuits and gravy. $8 and I was stuffed! Great small town cafe and bar, very plain, but the food came out quickly and was delicious. Huge portions, very fair prices and great service.

I have gotten Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner here, dine in and take out. The food is absolutely great and very family friendly! Plenty of seating and clean. The bar is welcoming and cozy and has a pool table, dart board and juke box, it also has an outdoor beer garden for smokers, a fire pit and horseshoes in the summer.
