Actually pretty good Jamaican food! DO NOT expect a smile! The customer service is HORRIBLE! I thought I was back in the military during boot camp! It’s a very us against them kind of place! My cousins and I have been coming here for years! Today we decided to meet on lunch break and eat together. We came ordered food and decided we wanted to eat on the patio. The young girl then said we can’t eat with to-go containers on the patio. Mind you we see ppl eating on the patio with to-go containers. We decided to eat in the car but my cousin said maybe we didn’t hear right. So she goes back to verify and she said yeah they said no. So we are eating in the car and another person joins their group and no one ever told them anything they brought them water after they just told the customer in front of us he had to buy a water bottle (rudely). If you’re going to make a rule it should apply to all and I spent good money on all of our meals. Sorry to say I won’t be coming back bc the attitude was horrible along with it.

The food was delicious, I had to ask for clarification on how to order from the vegan menu. I am not from the area, but came back to try the tofu jerk and veg plate. We got the veg patties and coco. Good good. So, after the order, the young lady asked for my name. I gave it to her. For this menu item, which is cooked to order, there was a 30 min wait. We sat and waited. For some reason the girl thought it was ok to yell “hey” meaning us, to come get our now done order. As well prepared as the food was, I don’t see getting past the environment or being yelled at. Spending my money requires some sense of appreciation. Bad first experience. Lackluster!

I love Ionies! They have an amazing selection of meat-free options. The serving size is big; I can eat off of it for about 2-3 days…. very filling. The curry tofu is sooooo good and full of flavor!!!! The veggie stir fry is delish too! Rice and peas are always cooked perfect and delicious. It knocks any local comparison out of the water. I order from this restaurant at least once every two weeks. Also, I’ve NEVER had a problem with the customer service here in all my years of patronizing this restaurant. The owner, staff and establishment as a whole are delightful.

Taste is good but the attitudes of the servers are beyond horrible. The quality of food is no longer satisfying since Covid. The prices went up drastically and the food quality went down. My roti was hard and stale, and the Mac n cheese was burned, not to mention the portion was small for $5. They clearly microwaved it in the styrofoam container and then put it in my bag. Check out the picture. My food literally took 30 minutes to be given to me but I can’t understand why! They will never get a cent of my money again!! Do yourself a favor a save the headache by going somewhere else!!!!!

Don’t go here if you expect good customer service. The staff is rude and we if we could sit down and eat and they said no. I asked if I could sit outside with our $65 to go order. We asked for a to go plate to put the leftovers to take home and they said $1 each. The customer service is horrible and the food is mediocre. They don’t value their customers at all. It’s a shame that your own people will treat you like trash .

One of my new favorites for Caribbean food!! The food was delicious!!! The dining area was vibrantly decorated and true to the island feel. And I could see that it was a very popular place for carry out as well. Only thing I could slightly complain about, is the menu is so vast that it’s a little hard to navigate. But I did ask questions and got answers and ordered some really tasty things …my favorite is the jerk chicken macNcheese

The owner is prejudice against people that look just like her. I bought over $50 worth of food. I decided it would be more convenient to stay and eat in as opposed to eating at home. My daughters and I sat in the inside with our to- go containers, soon after sitting down we were told by the owner we couldn’t sit in with to-go containers. When I asked about the patio she also told us no. However when I looked on the patio there were three white people eating their food out of to-go containers. I immediately asked for a refund and reminded the owner of her bias disgusting ways. She hates herself hence why she looks as if she bleaches her skin.
