We have tried this place 4 times now. We have had 1 good meal! Live 5 minutes away. After today, we probably won’t be back. Food was just bland, shrimp tacos were so runny, the sauce, or whatever had no taste, and the appetizer was brought after the food and was burnt. Never said anything too late! They are either short staffed or they don’t care. Won’t get my money anymore.

My sister and I stayed within walking distance of this establishment and went in on a Wednesday evening. A gentleman working the bar near the sidewalk (with the garage doors) was friendly and helpful said that bar closing soon so we sat inside. Nice place with arcade games, pool tables, lots of tv’s, and virtual golf. We didn’t take advantage of the games since we were tired after traveling to attend a funeral. There is Irish and German food and drinks so we did take advanatage of a few menu items.

Don’t know if they changed management or what. The way the food was plated appeared to be an attempt to be a higher class restaurant. The food has always been good. Sadly, this time, the red cabbage was bland and greasey, and there was too much horse radish in the potato salad. Neither tasted German style as stated. The pork roulade was very good, as was the prime rib sandwich. Corned beef and cabbage egg rolls were also good, especially if you ask for a thousand island dressing to dip in. They were not busy at all, yet our waitress was not attentive in the leaat.

I’ve heard good things before, but never got around to it. I have been missing out. There are all kinds of games, a full bar, a great menu, huge selection of beers. I don’t know if you will find a more friendly group of servers and bartenders. Alina took care of us tonight and there was nothing I could recommend to change. She wasn’t hovering, but kept a watchful eye and checked on us periodically. Understand, it is more of a bar setting, so it is a little louder than some places. That isn’t a bad thing, it wasn’t too loud, but be aware it is a little louder than some restaurants, which actually adds to the charm. The menu is extremely diverse. If you take a group here and someone can’t find something they like, I would be shocked as there is something for everyone. Prime rib, burgers, philly’s, schnitzels, fish and chips, salads…list goes on. One of the manager’s was out on the floor talking with people. This was our first time there and he talked to us like we were old friends. That special touch is VERY hard accomplish without coming across as fake. I felt like I was talking with a buddy from college. That is virtually irreplaceable for restaurants. There were young professionals, older couples, even families, so literally everyone will be able to enjoy their experience here. Wife had philly…awesome. i had the fish and chips which were amazing. The fries…probably top 3 I have ever had. Cheers was billed as a place where everyone knows your name. This is pretty close in feel. Take the time and visit. I would be surprised if your experience was anything but enjoyable.

I am disgusted with the food and the lack of empathy shown by this establishment. I had friends come into town and I suggested this restaurant. When we arrived I inquired if the Caesar salad had a gluten free dressing. Our kind waitress inquired with the kitchen and confirmed it was gluten-free. I ordered the salad without croutons. The salad arrived with croutons mixed in the salad and dressing. I sent the salad back and again requested no croutons. The salad arrived and I looked under the lettuce and saw that the bottom half of the salad was the original salad full of croutons. It became very clear that the kitchen only removed a portion of the top and covered it with fresh lettuce. I am not gluten-free by choice but medical necessity. Luckily I looked at the salad before eating it and had a horrible reaction to the croutons. I asked the waitress to again take it away and told her I didn’t want to risk a third time and to please bring the nachos. I know the nachos are gluten free from the many times I’ve ordered them over the past two years. I received the order almost 20 minutes later and the queso was too cold to pour out onto the equally cold nachos. This experience was atrocious and I contacted the restaurant and never received any feedback. Will not be back and will recommend you don’t waste your money.

My husband and I were on a road trip and decide to swing in based on the menu. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! The food is not your average “pub” cuisine. My husband ordered a Reuben and I ordered the pork schnitzel. When I tell you that his Reuben was the best I’ve ever had in my life, I am not exaggerating. The pork schnitzel was excellent as well, cooked perfectly with a great crunch. Unfortunately they were out of spaetzel, but by the taste of the other food I can only assume that it was due to the popular demand. The only complaint I have is that I don’t live in this city so I can come and enjoy this fantastic food again!

Started with the pretzel logs and I wouldn’t recommend the inside was still cold/frozen. The beers tasted a little flat (I think the CO2 was off). The fish n chips was okay I thought the fish was great however the fries were very bland and had no seasoning. The tarter sauce was good and the service was good throughout and everything came out quite quickly and there was a huge 20 person party behind us! Overall not a bad meal but I certainly have had better
