My fiancé and I have lived in the Norwich area for about 6 months now and we love trying new restaurants together. Irene’s is AMAZING !! I ordered a toasted Italian grinder and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best grinders ive had in a long time! And he got a chicken tender meal with garlic bread and fries (yes I tried some) they did a wonderful job and quick delivery! Definitely worth a try!!

Pizza is always good here! Have eaten here for years whenever in town visiting family. Traditional for this region of CT, the pizza is neither thin nor thick crust, but somewhere deliciously in between.

The building is kind of small and the seating seems a little to close to each other. The seating is comfortable, service is polite but not very engaging. The food is 4 star quality and taste. This place seems clean. The parking outside could be improved on. Overall i would come back but it is better to order for delivery.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a side of meatballs and a large pepperoni pizza. 43 minutes after my original call my food was brought out to my vehicle. I believe that it sat for awhile because it was warm but not hot. The meatballs were quite good, lots of sauce, tender and juicy. The pizza was a typical Greek pizza, lots of cheese and lots of pepperoni. Decent flavor but nothing overwhelming. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 6.5.
