Every plate my family and I ordered was top notch in presentation. From subs to calzones and pizzas everything was pretty tasty. The mozzarella sticks are more like mozzarella logs. They are huge. I would even go as far as saying just a bit too big. Maybe ad Ann extra one and decrease the overall size just a tad? Found myself struggling to swallow a big bite lol. Drinks were a little off tasting. Possibly the water that fills them. But the entire place was so clean and highly decorative. Their manager or owner was very proud and attentive to our needs. Our waitress was very kind. Definitely an at home place. And kind to my kids as well. Her plate was a little late but not frustratingly late. Easy things to change.

We found this restaurant as we were passing through town. Very good, freshly made food. The sizes were huge and not a bad price. We got the garden salad which was big enough for me and my husband to split. The ranch was obviously homemade and that was a huge plus. The mozzarella “logs” were delicious and fresh. And we got pepperoni pizza that was delicious. It had a fresh tomato sauce and good quality ingredients. We had a pleasant visit. The owner and staff were great- checked on us several times and we got our food very quickly.

New ownership here has done an awesome job and this is a great addition to the Newberry area! Just finished lunch with one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had in a while and a HUGE basket of onion rings! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and my food arrived quickly which makes this a great option for lunch. I can’t wait to come back to try the pizza which I have been told by several is awesome. Considering how expensive everything is right now, the prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

First time eating here and will definitely return. Great food and HUGE portions! The Garlic Parmesan Chicken Sandwich was a huge chicken breast covered in oozy cheesy goodness, and loaded with bacon. Onion rings were lightly battered and fried to crispy perfection! Pizza sauce is obviously homemade and very delicious! Highly recommend!!!

I stopped during a recent road trip. I stopped in this wonderful restaurant. I ordered onion rings…THE BEST EVER! I also ordered a meatball sub that was equally good. The service was great. I can’t say enough. Stop in a have a bite, you won’t be disappointed.

Irene’s is a local place that you can’t help but love! The portions are generous & worth the price. The only reason it’s not getting a 5 star is because it could use a good deep clean! But the owner is amazing, invested in every customer having a good experience. If you go, make sure to get the hand-cut mozzarella sticks!

Food average. Owner, a complete tool. Did you know the owner, that over-talkative braggart that hovers over the cash register and barks orders at his crew keeps the tips of the employees? It’s true. And shameful. If you eat there, don’t tip on your card. Hand the cash directly to the servers. Don’t put the tip in that wood box he keeps inching your way. He keeps that money too. Tips are traditionally for servers.

Traveling down I-26 and looking for a nice place for a late lunch. Easy to get to, accommodating to our party of 7, friendly from the minute we walked in to when we left. If no one can find something they like to eat on their Menu then it doesn’t exist! Great service in a timely manner and great food!
