The patties here are the best I’ve ever had – just the perfect amount of spiciness! The older lady who works front of house is so kind. The jerk chicken was not my favorite but there are a lot of other menu choices that I am looking forward to trying! The price point is very reasonable and the dining room is both clean and relaxed.

The food is “okay”. The curry chicken has actually been good both times I’ve ordered but the brown stew chicken didn’t taste fresh and the ketchup taste was loud. I’d be reluctant to refer this place since they messed up the brown stew. But they’re beef patties are pretty good and supposedly they’re made fresh from scratch according to the lady who runs the front.

There was only one person working. You could tell she did not want to do any work. It was 6:00, there were no customers in the restaurant which had tons of empty tables, but she said we could only order “to go”. No thanks. And the place does not look as good as it does in the pictures.

I have been bringing my pets here since I moved to FL in 2012. The staff really cares about the pets that are brought in. I also board my pets here because the animals know them and they are know about any of their health issues. I’ve lost 2 pets since I came here but had to add their pix.

Do not come here! The older lady at the front is a rude and disgusting representation of this place. I was so disgusted and appalled by her attitude to the people ahead of me ordering as well as her remark to my sister, that we just walked out without ordering. I have no idea how the food taste but I wouldn’t want someone like her taking my order or fixing my foood with a bad spirit like hers. So my sisters and I went back to tropical rythme Island restaurant on Bloomingdale. When I tell you Miss Nan is amazing there . So sweet and kind and such grace in preparing our order. It was out of the way but we will just keep going there cause Irie bay isn’t it! They need to get rid of that lady.

I bought Brown Stew Chicken today I took it home to eat. I open the box and saw there was a heavy thick sauce all over the meat brown but had a consistency like ketchup. I tasted it meat and it was reheated because it was previously in the refrigerator. When you reheat brown stew chicken it has a funny flavor compared to freshly cooked. I paid good money for my food and wasn’t expecting stale food. I promise you I will never go back to this establishment.

Just ordered and ate a jerk chicken salad here. The chicken was awesome! However the salad portion needs some work… They used your basic grocery store iceberg lettuce in a bag kit and they washed the lettuce right before serving, so it was extremely wet which caused water pooled in the bottom of my to go box. Some fresh lettuce and some better prep would make this dish amazing.
