We haven’t had Jamaican food since we moved from Florida almost 5 years ago and this restaurant blows away any I’ve ever had! So glad we found this little spot. My husband had the Jerk Chicken and I had the Brown Stew Chicken. My mouth is drooling thinking about it. If I could give him 10 stars, I would! Please take the time to visit and enjoy real, authentic Jamaican flavors! You won’t regret it! Can’t wait to go back and try some Oxtail!! Definitely one of my go-to restaurants in Greenville for amazing food!!

We drove all the way from Maggie Valley just to have a taste of the best Jamaican food that we have ever tasted for quite awhile. We ordered oxtail which was tender, fall off the bone deliciousness! The goat curry was so good my husband and daughter devoured it. We had a sampling of the jerk chicken, chicken curry and brown stew and we enjoyed every bite. We even have to order to go so we can enjoy the yummy food on our way back to maggie valley. I rarely write google reviews but this place deserves a shut out for the extraordinary service and food.

Jerk chicken was rice was amazing. I was headed back home out of state and happened to find this place on google. Food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. The cabbage had like a sweet heat to it. Not too spicy but just right. Rice was great not mushy but perfect. Chicken was exceptional. Oh and I got the beef patty with cheese… I recommend cheddar instead of American cheese. Just my personal preference.

Absolutely delicious food! The ox tails were so tender and seasoned to perfection. Not fatty like many places the beans & rice just right. I was surprised how moist not dry the plantains were. My husband loved the curried chicken. Plate. This will be our # 1 for Jamaican cuisine from now on. Thank you for the great palate experience.

Our 1st time at Irie. My husband ordered oxtail, I ordered curry chicken, and we tried a side of the jerk chicken wings to test the heat level. Everything was amazing. The flavors were incredible. My favorite was the curry chicken. I ordered a medium and the portion was enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The service was very welcoming and friendly. Every customer that came in was treated like family. We unexpectedly were on that side of town yesterday or we never would have stumbled across the most amazing authentic Jamaican cuisine. It was definitely a treat. We will be back soon!!

The food is amazing. We were a party of 7. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. We had goat, jerk chicken, and curry chicken and everyone loved their food. The tropical lemonade was delicious. My parents had been here before and loved it and this time didn’t disappoint. Everyone there is amazingly friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out.
