Tonight was a bad night. Got the Rasta pasta as usual. If you’re charging $18 for a $1.50 worth of boxed pasta it better be on point. Paid extra for chicken and received 2 tiny pieces. The pasta was super gummy. The sauce was definitely amazing, but not sure if I’ll take the chance again.

First time trying and the food was amazing! Only giving a four star because the curry chicken was a little more ginger forward than curry for me, but it was still good. The chicken Pattie’s were BOMB. We got a decent amount of food a didn’t spend much so that was a plus too . Will definitely be going back.

another culturally diverse food option! Irie brings standard jamaican flavors, which can be customized based on your taste preference. you can choose to have your food mild or more spicy. they also have some sauces they can drizzle on your meal for an extra layer of flavor. the plantains can be really dried out sometimes, but when they are good, they are realllly good!

My husband and I stopped in for the first time this evening after seeing Irie on local food Instagram accounts. The service was amazing! I always get a little nervous ordering, especially new places when there is a line behind me but the gentleman serving us was awesome. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and the gentleman asked genuine questions about far along I was and what gender we hope the baby will be since we are letting it be a surprise. He also helped my husband figure out what to order which was super helpful! I wish I had caught his name to give him a better shout out! The food was DELICIOUS and a great value.

I’m here once a month minimum. Great flavors and variety. I like the idea of the bowls because you can definitely try multiple things without spending a lot. I do have to add a lil hot sauce to mine to bring the heat. Don’t be intimidated by Jamaican food. It’s absolutely delicious at this great lil spot!!

Fairly new to the areas and was looking for something new to try. I was a little skeptical at first because I’m not to good with spicy food. I got the stewed chicken bowl with black beans and it was AMAZING !!! My husband got the jerk chicken bowl and it had a kick which he loved ! Everything from the price, ppl and especially the food was excellent! Will definitely be eating here again and recommend it!!!!!

I’ve been following these fine folks on Instagram for a while (I suggest you do too). Finally made time to head out to their Old Brooklyn location and I’m happy I did. The place smells amazing as soon as you pull up. Menu was concise and easy to navigate. Food was hot and ready. Everything I had here was delicious and I’m looking forward to coming to for more. Highly recommend.
