This is my second time going to this restaurant. The food is soooo good. It was well seasoned and food authentic. As a Yadie (Jamaican born), I am always looking for a taste of home and this is by far the best. This is my spot whenever I am in the ALT area.

Feels like homemade food! I like the owner and chef are really proud of their meal and services to customers. They were running through business mainly for to-go customers, but they are expanding to dine in service. I loved it. I definitely recommend anyone who likes to eat Caribbean meal. I love the ox tail meal.

As an owner of a Jamaican style food truck, I wanted to try this establishment I had been hearing about. I first tried the food truck a while back, thinking maybe the restaurant would be better. That happens more times than you think but not in this case. I won’t denigrate a fellow owner but instead offer a few hints. First, let your counter staff be a little friendlier. Even Mickey D’s says hello upon entering. Secondly, gravy is gravy. It doesn’t fall threw the rice so easily. Lastly, I will just say to taste the food before sitting it out. Authenticity of any national food is important. The rice and peas could stand a few more peas. Before I go, don’t burn and dry out the jerk chicken.

Last Friday I saw the food truck and decided to give it a shot. I was greeted by Prince Ellis and blessed with some amazing food! I took the food back and let a few folks at Atlanta Masjid try some and was immediately sent back to grab a few more plates.

I ordered the curry Goat. The flavor was pretty good, but I got a plenty of bones in my order and not much meat. My side was bean in rice and Mac. The large side of the to-go container was filled with beans and rice and the curry Goat was in the corner where the sides would be. For $28 (up charge for mac) I don’t feel this was a good portion side for my entree. I may try this place one more time b/c the food did taste ok. But i didn’t get the best first impression based on quantity of my food.

Yes and YES and YES AND YES!!!!!!! When you see the grill outside you know what’s up! After attending carnival 2022 and being disappointed with the food…We were on the hunt for some great Jamaican food to settle our tummies. After reading reviews all the local Islanders stated this was the spot. And boy were they on point! Customer service was absolutely amazing and these were the best oxtails I have ever had and that’s a high bar to reach! We also got fried chicken and baby they had the graces ketchup!!!! If you know you know! The jerk chicken was amazing as well. The main thing that I really loved about this food was it was truly authentic no water down flavor and the spice was on point! We have deemed this spot Our Jamaican go to whenever we are in Atlanta!

I always order here on Uber eats. I get the curry chicken or jerk chicken and it is always on point. Not to exaggerate but this is one of the best Jamaican food places in Atlanta. Very hard to come across
