If an award is being given for “most salty meal”, this restaurant would be top of the list. I ordered oxtail and was served about 5 pieces. I wasn’t mad at the small portion but the saltiness was enough to cook a whole new pot of stew. Plantains? —Dry like chips and burnt! Service was below par. I ordered 30 minutes ahead, got there and still had to wait another 30 minutes. I won’t be revisiting this place.

Don’t go here. The portions are smaller than what you would get anywhere else. I asked what the sides were. Was told I would get cabbage, rice and peas, and plantain. I waited for 1.5 hrs because I ordered oxtail. None of the dishes had plantain. The cabbage was basically non-existent. The jerk chicken was way too dry and salty. The oxtail was mostly bone, was tough, and tasted like jerky and had hardly any rice. I ordered jerk catfish and got fried catfish. At least the fried catfish was good, albeiy salty like everything else. I went back to the restaurant to explain everything and got a small takeout tray with cabbage, oxtail, and jerk chicken that weighed as much as all 3 large plates combined. I tried to reason with the bartender and explain my situation. She just played things off and basically just hoped that things would be better next time I come and that we ate 90-95% of our food. We ate 15% based on the pictures. Needless to say, I will never be back. Additionally, saw someone else who ordered a side of plantain. They got 6 tiny undercooked pieces for about $5.

Our first visit…service was friendly and prompt. Ordered several items to sample, everything was good. Jerk taco and egg rolls…excellent! Customers need to keep in mind that the menu is Caribbean/Jamaican, therefore food preparation and seasonings are slightly different. Enjoy the diversity in that and always support local businesses! Thank you! We’ll be back!

Placed a pick up order that was a 20 minutes wait time. Got there and waited 10 more minutes. The whole time my order was sitting by a counter. No one but two city workers were in there.

Food is soooo flavorful! We had jerk ribs, jerk catfish and jerk chickem, fried plantains , cabbage, and rice- all BUSSIN’. Friendly service, clean. No reason you shouldn’t eat there right now! Good thing the food was served in to-go containers because the portions were huge and we definitely took the leftovers home.

I am conflicted to give them 4 stars since the jerk chicken was the best jerk chicken I had in a while! Flavors were amazing and the chicken was not dried up. And they put extra sauce on it also.

I ordered oxtail and I was told it would come with plantains but it didn’t. I ordered another side portion of plantains and it was burnt! I placed a pick up order almost 35minutes ahead and I still had to wait another half hour when I got there because the server took his time talking to some lady while I waited in line—no acknowledgement!!

Horrible experience , I would have put no star but google is generous hence my one star. Everything was not good, the oxtail was salt tail, the salt content was too much and I couldn’t eat it, the plantain was fried dry like plantain chips and defeated the purpose for ordering plantain. I would rather starve than come back to irie
