Iron Chef is by far the most authentic Chinese take out that I have found in Lexington. You can tell that the food served is prepared with care by wonderful chefs. Always flavored to perfection. They also have some of the kindest staff. Always polite and well mannered. Service was also very fast! You can definitely tell that they care about their customers. If you go try the Crab Rangoon! They are amazing!

Is it Chinese takeout you’re looking for? If so, this is the best Chinese Restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky! We ordered two orders of Shrimp Lo Mein, one order of Egg Drop Soup, one order of Pork Dumplings and an Egg Roll. We (two adults) loved every bite and had an entire order of Shrimp Lo Mein left over. If you are looking for fast Chinese takeout, Iron Chef is the best.

We ordered from here for delivery as it’s close by. None of the food was hot. Actually some of it seemed like it had not been completely defrosted. The house combination fried rice was a huge disappointment. There is barely any meat or veggies in this dish. There was zero egg and zero flavor. The rice was a strange yellow color and weird texture.

First time trying Iron Chef. Was very disappointed. Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken – no pineapple, no bell peppers. Chicken came in a box with sweet and sour sauce on the side. Not at all what I expected. Unless the menu says “with broccoli” expect just the menu item. Fried rice is yellow rice. Fried Wontons were not as expected either – very thick; not thin and crispy. Guess it’s good others like the food. I won’t be returning; not for me.
