Food is amazing very clean service is fast and attentive the atmosphere is almost like farm like. The prices are reasonable not too expensive. The lemonade is great not too sweet I got the chicken and pancakes which was very good chicken was moist and tender not fried too hard the pancakes were good too a little thicker than usual but not dry homefries were season and very good. Cakes on cakes which was a corn meal pancake with crab cake fries green tomatoes it was excellent well season evenly proportion no filler in the crab cake great experience one of my favorite restaurants in the area

Delicious food with some unique twists. Service was friendly and fast. Floors were dirty and slippery – 3 of us almost fell. Nothing exciting about the atmosphere. We would most likely try a different restaurant when visiting Annapolis again.

We came here for the first time after hearing good things about the food. Iron Rooster is a cute spot with plenty of indoor seating downstairs and upstairs. The decor is very farm home like and cute with Maryland and Navy signs around in addition to the roosters. The place is kid friendly. We sat upstairs and had a great view of the Annapolis city dock area. Our waitress was great and fast with anything we needed. The food was great w good portions! They serve all day breakfast along with a regular lunch/dinner menu. Iron Rooster is known for their fresh made pop tarts. So we had to try! We were not disappointed. Definitely recommend ordering a pop tart to go if you are too full after you eat. They have different flavors depending on the season. Also the size of the pop tart is bigger than what you get from the store. 1 can definitely serve 2 people. Drinks were light and good too!

So we went during the labor day weekend and it was pretty crowded but since I was visiting from NYC I am not too sure how packed it usually is. The wait was about 30 min, and they give you options to dine inside or outside. Aside from that the food you get here is mainly breakfast focused. I didn’t know it was going to be like that so I was pleasantly surprised. I forgot to take a picture of the full menu but here are some of the dishes we ate.

It was a great overall experience. I just couldn’t give five stars because our server was not that great. He did a fine job but not five star fine.

Awesome breakfast/brunch menu. Crab hash, homemade poptarts (pictured), chicken and waffles, as well as many others I’d recommend. Don’t bring your keto buddies! Terrific, quaint pub atmosphere with historic tone authentic for the area.

I really wanted to like the iron rooster. Sadly it just was not in the cards. We were seated in an extremely busy through way with wait staff flying by us constantly. You thought that would mean we would atleast have decent service but it was actually hard to get anyone to notice us. The brunch menu had many typical brunch options and we went with the French toast, chicken and pancakes, with the pop-tart to start; guess I had a sweet tooth that day. The Pop-Tart is by far the best part of the meal. Buttery flaky crust with a nice berry filling. It was very sweet but also super good. That’s where the fun ended. The cinnamon French toast was fairly flavorless, over cooked, and simply standard. The chicken was dry accompanied by even dryer, over-mixed, dense as rocks pancakes. Maybe if you got enough drinks to loosen up your taste buds, it could work. Sadly our drinks were terrible also. They tasted like a pile of store bought mixer with a dash of railway liquor. Seriously, just goto IHOP. You’ll have a better meal at a fraction of the Iron Rooster’s ridiculous price. If you have to eat here, get a Pop-Tart and a coffee, maybe a side of eggs for the morning protein, and don’t look back.

Definitely recommend! Food was fantastic, place was huge, decor adorable, and staff was great! They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors since it was hit out and AC felt good. Location is nice. Right by water area. Check it out…

Found this gem as we arrived in town early to depart for our cruise. So convenient to the port and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast! Treat yourself to the Flight of Waffles! Great idea and great portions, not overwhelming. Very nice staff and environment. Hope to get back here someday in the future!
