THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. While in DC for the weekend, I met my cousin from Baltimore here for Sunday brunch. The told us we would wait for one hour, but it did not take that long. We walked across the street to Dunkin Donuts and had tea while we waited for the text message. The customer service needs improvement. It could have been worse but could have been so much better. We waited too long for simple things like a drink refill. The food came out in a decent time frame. The strawberry avocado toast was exceptional. I would visit again in hopes to get better service. The wine used for the Mimosas is of good quality. We also had the crab hash, churros and breakfast eggrolls. Prices are reasonable. You have to request separate tickets, otherwise, they will create one large bill. My cousin had been there several times before and he did not drink. I am a person who does not believe in having people pay for drinks when they do not drink alcohol and that was part of the issue with the ticket. If you do not mind one ticket, that won’t be an issue for you. In my opinion, we should have been made aware of that policy prior to ordering. I didn’t get pics of every item but EVERYONE was satisfied with their food/appetizer/drink.

Nice atmosphere and most of the team members are so friendly and helpful. We had a party of six and our food did not come out as ordered, the server started to get snippy and rude with us but we were patient and nice to her. The manager took over and we all were so pleased even the cook came out and helped us. This was my first time here, the food once it was prepared as requested was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bacon on a stick . So addicting and the homemade Boston Cream Poptart . I will be back.

I always enjoy the breakfast at Iron Rooster. I usually get the crab hash, which I ordered again, and as always, did not disappoint. Also got the breakfast egg rolls this time which were tasty. And we tried the biscuits with gravy which had a hair in it, but the manager took care of it and comp’d our meal. The replacement was good. Our server was Kanisha. She was attentive and great. Great service and response to our concerns. Would definitely return and recommend.

I arrived around 130pm it was busy but not crowded. Maybe 2 large groups and a few other tables and a handful of people at the bar. I sat at the bar and it took a little bit for the bartender to arrive and get me a drink and menu. I ordered a chicken sandwich and I dont know if they need to change the oil or they just overcooked the chicken but it wasn’t good. There was a drop of garlic aoli sauce on the sandwich. Like I had to lift up the chicken and pickles to find the sauce. Then it took a long time to get the ticket. Not a place I would come back to.

The food was good but the service was slow and disorderly. I’m not sure if they didn’t write things down correctly but they brought the wrong drinks and may have forgotten about one because we had to ask multiple times. It wasn’t busy when we went there but it took a very long time to get our order.

Absolutely amazing brunch. We love Iron Rooster and usually go to the Annapolis one but wow! We were blown away by Mr Mark (he would be so sad if he saw me say Mr.). His hospitality is truly amazing and he’s so friendly. He made this such an amazing experience. The food is always good but he’s the true 5 star in this. Hold on to him! We recommend everything especially the southern peach cocktail.
