Went here first the first time today, and I’ll definitely be back. Their lunch menu had plenty of options and very reasonable prices. I had empress chicken with fried rice and egg rolls; everything was delicious, and arrived to my table very quickly. The staff were great, too! Carryout orders were flying out of the kitchen with very little wait time, so this is a great spot for take-out.

The entrees are always perfectly done, and I always have to enjoy an order of jalapeno rangoons while I’m there. Nice sized tender cuts of meat in the dish. Beautiful, well cooked vegetables, and the flavors are always delicious. Staff is very friendly. Not really an atmosphere to speak of but always good seating.

1st visit. Won’t be our last. Delicious fresh curry beef, just the right heat and lots of perfectly prepared veggies. Jalapeño Rangoons were terrific too. Nice people willing to prepare to your likings. Very friendly.

Great service. Great food. I have dined here several times over the years. I enjoy the chicken lomein, orange chicken and the Szechuan combo platter. All equally excellent. The egg rolls are spot on and the egg drop soup is full of substance. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in West des moines and I have dined at them all.

I’m from out of town. I found this place on accident as the first place I saw was Panda Express but the lobby is closed and being on a motorcycle, I couldn’t use the drive thru. In the Panda parking lot, I googled and found that Iron Wok was not far. The place is clean. The kitchen is wide open and the cooking in perfect view. My order was made right before my eyes. I love Pad Thai. I almost always order the “house” or combo Pad Thai with beef, chicken and shrimp. I am being honest when I say that this was the most delicious that I have had. I couldn’t even finish the large portion…..as much as I wanted too! Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend!
