Food is inconsistent and so is service. The cocktails are great as well as the starters. Great food with a southern influence. Do not fall into the trap of the “giant meatball” up-sell, get the lamb shank or the fish wonderful options. The pasta on the meatball dish was so over cooked it became an unrecognizable shape and there was no flavor other than dough stuck on my teeth. Perhaps not a place for simple dishes like pasta. Ordered a side of perfectly roasted fingerling potatoes instead, hard to get service despite being next to the hostess stand, could have been due to low staffing.

The dishes are very delicious, we asked for medium-rare and we got the perfect medium-rare. The prices are okay, not too expensive. We ordered The 45 days old whatever beef steak, the steak is flawless very big and tasty, but the smash potato are not really my favourite because I could feel a very strong cheese flavour which is good but it too strong. The deserts is perfect.

We made reservations on a Friday night and it was worth it! The staff is friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious and you can tell that it is made with fresh ingredients. They even have a little garden outside for their herbs. Hands down the best artisan burger and fries and the salmon was cooked to perfection. I’m not a drinker but was happy to see there was a signature mocktail on the menu that was delicious too. We will be back and highly recommend Ironwood!!

We opted for a meal of starters instead of ordering the entrees. (which was super speedy) Overall, it’s 3.5 stars. Happy to have had the outdoor tent seating option. The cocktail menu = 4 stars. The meyer lemon duck wings = 4 stars. The loaded truffle pecorino fries = 3 stars. The heirloom and watermelon panzanella salad = 4 stars. The oysters = 4 stars. Service = 4 stars. Value for money = 3.

I really enjoyed my stay here a couple of days ago. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time trying steak so I didn’t know how much I preferred it cooked since I haven’t tried it before. The waiter helped me decide the best one for me. I got a medium well done and it was a very satisfying meal. It was so juicy,tender , and yummy! The atmosphere was beautiful, which was nice for a special family night. You can watch the chefs cook food and honestly it was very cool to watch. The food did not take long to arrive. The garlic bread and burger were also amazing. This place is underrated for such an amazing restaurant. I have no complaints.

We were surprisingly disappointed with Ironwood. Although the staff and service was thorough, welcoming, and on point, the food was sub par. We ordered the Hamachi and Oysters for our appetizers. We’ve had much better hamachi so it’s hard to say whether our opinion is skewed in that category, but it was medium tier at best. The oysters left a very foul smell on your breath after eating just one. My boyfriend and I almost always order oysters when we see it on a menu and that smell was a first for us.

The bread is honey butter are good! I just wish that it’s complimentary. I believe they cost around $7. The oysters on the shell are also surprisingly good. Be sure to sip up the juice from the shell! Lamb shank was great! I would skip the Wagyu burger as I couldn’t tell if it was really Wagyu beef. Overall, this place serves great dishes!
