very authentic Japanese soba shop. don’t expect to have your mind blown, as soba is a more simple eats. But it’s done very right and done well.

Really spectacular. Best soba I have had outside Japan. Delicious sushi. My favorite Japanese restaurant in the city.

Restaurant has wonderful decoration and gives a very refined feeling. The waiters are excellent, and I enjoyed my ten zaru cold soba! I made a reservation 15 minutes before coming here on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. I would come back to try their hot sobas next time!

Wow!!! Hands down, Ise is one of the best kept secrets in town. The meals were well priced, and we enjoyed how authentic everything was And if you like soba, this is the spot to visit. We got the squid ink soba and the combo special (soba, sushi, and some hot items) – both dishes were delicious. The restaurant had an interesting layout with 2 sections of counter seating, some mini booth, and tables. Either way, plenty of seating for a small storefront. Service was friendly, but the server couldn’t really recommend any dishes to us. Complimentary hot tea at the end of the meal was a nice touch. We left with our bellies satisfied!

So impressed with this place, would strongly recommend! It really reminded me of Japan. The vibes inside are really nice and calm, with jazz in the background. The waiters are polite and nice. The food tasted a lot better than it looks in my opinion. It had a very Japanese and authentic taste – the flavours were not overpowering but had a sophisticated edge. The appetizers were very meticulously prepared and I enjoyed every bite. The cake looked really small and simple but tasted delicious. It really reminded me so much of being in Japan. I was really not expecting to like this place so much and would definitely return.

Overall very happy with food especially soba, sushi was not bad but not great either. The $38 set quality was decent for its price but portion is very small. Service was a bit slow but overall good.

It is really difficult to find its store Front at night, because there was no light or anything that tells you where it is. You would have to get close enough to realize that is the store. Food wise, they are good. I like the salmon sashimi, and I think they burned the surface a bit, the texture on the salmon surface is very different than other places I tried. The hexagon allows you to try more variety of foods. It was a little cold if you decided to sit at the bar at the winter, whenever someone opens the door, the winds will blow in.
