I LOVE this restaurant! Me and my family have recently started going here but we have fallen in love with the food, the service, and the whole experience. It feels so comforting when you eat there. It’s nothing fancy but you can tell that their food is quality. I’d recommend getting their chicken tamales with the green salsa and some tacos con asada because their asada is so juicy and tender and overall just delicious. The workers are extremely nice and friendly and work fast which I appreciate. I have nothing but good honest things to say about Isela’s and you should really try some if you’re in the summit area.

Went here when it first opened and they had 6 days in. I forgot to make a review but as I come in again I had to remember to review it. The tamales were so delicious and the Chile oozed out of the tamales. The arroz con leche was perfect and hit the spot. The lady was so sweet and she also was a reason why I went again. A small restaurant specializing in tamales. The tamales are delicious and they have some varieties like mole that are not on the menu. Definitely recommend but maybe call ahead as they can sell out fast.
