Extremely impressed by this lil hole in the wall. The food was AMAZING. Almost entirely shrimp, this isn’t your traditional Tex Mex restaurant, this is Mexican seafood. So good. Reminded me of growing up on Galveston island. The service was slow, but it was 2 lady’s in a crowded restaurant. Everyone seemed happy, everyone around us finished their plates. Del Mar #4 is SO good! Very authentic, with a strong influence from the coast. The guacamole reminded us of a ceviche, it was absolutely delicious! My fiancée thought it was the best guac she’s ever had. She also ordered the chicken fajitas. They were delicious! I ordered the tampiqueña de pollo, which was also fantastic! The portions are also very generous. We ordered takeout, which was ready very quickly. Service was very courteous. Next time we go we will definitely branch out and try the seafood offerings. We highly recommend this place. It’s an absolute hidden gem
