We stumbled upon this place after leaving the park. There was no crowd due to everyone being at the beach. The presentation of the food was good. But it was missing something that would’ve made it pop. Different areas have different ways of flavoring BBQ. The time after ordering til receiving food wasn’t long at all.

Wow! If I had could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars then I would do it. The BBQ platter with pulled pork, coleslaw, and baked beans was the best I’ve ever eaten. They also give you 2 pieces of cornbread. The banana pudding was amazing and the service was quick, fast and over the top. I highly recommend eating at Island BBQ…⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had some Brisket at the beach. Amazing it was so good we went back on the way home from the beach and got chicken and ribs. They were just as good. Cornbread is amazing. Potato salad on point my wife said, and I have to agree.

Came here on a whim while waiting on friends. Definitely worth the stop by. The burgers were hand made and really large. The patties were loosely formed and made for a great chew.

You HAVE to try the brisket sandwich. Biggest bbq sandwich I’ve had anywhere. Bigger isn’t always better; but in this case, every bite was delicious, juicy, and satisfying. Loved it. My wife had it as well, and she doesn’t care much for bbq, but loved this sandwich. Had sweet potato as a side. Great tasting as well. 2nd visit, had the burger. It was good. Mac n cheese good. 3rd visit had the ribs and slaw. Not disappointed at all! I hope this restaurant can stick around for a while. Ill certainly eat here once a week. Worth it.

We ordered pulled pork, chicken, & brisket sandwiches. They were very good. Only suggestion would be to place draining rack for excess juices and grease could settle. But meats were very good, flavorful and tender. Love the skinny fries too. Will definitely order from here again.

Brisket was extremely salty and not really edible; however, it did match the salty level of customer service we witnessed another patron endure from the cashier/owner. 2 out of 7 menu items were decent. The mac n cheese & cornbread.
